Theothegreek Posted June 29, 2004 Share Posted June 29, 2004 I can tell you all as a Greek Canadian our country's Greek community's are going crazy for the Greek national team and thier success in Euro 2004. In Toronto they closed down the Danfoth street ( Greektown) and had a huge celebration following our victory over france,there were also big celebrations in our nations capital Ottawa as well as in Montreal, Vancouver and Halifax.Across the boarder in the USA especially in New York City ( Astoria Greek area) , Boston Detroit ,and Los Angeles the Greek Americans also were partying! It goes to show you Greeks are proud and although you can take a Greek out of Greece you can't take Greece out of the Greek Good luck to us on Thursday My brothers Go Greece Go :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
