Lazarus
From the CTV article: Beckham's new shoe features Canadian technology He (Beckham) sent England to the 2002 World Cup with a deadly free kick against Greece. University of Sheffield scientists later studied the delivery, concluding the ball left Beckham's foot at 80 miles per hour (218 km/h) from 27 metres out and moved laterally two metres during its flight because of the amount of spin applied. During the last half of its flight, it suddenly slowed to 42 m.p.h. (67 km/h), dipping into the top corner of the net. Talk about a spin, huh?
