Spiro Posted September 4, 2003 Share Posted September 4, 2003 I am sure you know that four Greek channels are broadcasting through the web currently. That shows us EVERY game of ANY team ALL over the world as long as it's on by those channels. My question is if we can find in the web the foreign channels that show the greek teams and watch the game on our monitor. For example the channel that show Manchester United -Panathinaikos in England AND broadcasts through the web. Or the channel that shows Panathinaikos -Stutgard in Germany. You'll be amazed how many they are! I am trying to locate these channels but first we have to know who is showing what and where and it's still very early for most of the games. Ziaka Posted September 5, 2003 Share Posted September 5, 2003 Yes, NET only shows games, when ET-1 has another game sheduled at the same time. NET is primarily set up to be a news oriented network in Greece. However, now that ERT has CL rights, it might have to show some games on NET when there will be conflicts with ET-1. So to answer your question, yes there might be some games on NET. The only problem is that the web broadcasts of NET are experimental project by a university. There seems to be a limited number of conncetion to get the feed. I tried many times to get a connection to NET, but out of 10 tries I usually get only one connection. He is gonna watch all of the games (CL, National team, UEFA) and his gonna point his web camera towards his tv. We will both be connected live through Netmeeting or any other program that allows live picture and... you guessed it! I -who live in the States- will be able to watch ALL the games! Free!
