Vaggar
The Standings Group One France 5 games 15 points Slovenia 5 10 Israel 5 8 Cyprus 6 7 Malta 7 0 Group Two Denmark 6 13 Norway 6 11 Romania 6 10 Bosnia-Herzegovina 5 6 Luxembourg 5 0 Group Three Czech Republic 5 13 Netherlands 5 13 Austria 6 9 Moldova 6 3 Belarus 6 3 Group Four Sweden 5 11 Hungary 6 11 Latvia 5 10 Poland 5 7 San Marino 7 0 Group Five Iceland 6 12 Germany 5 11 Scotland 5 8 Lithuania 6 7 Faroe Islands 6 1 Group Six Greece 6 12 Spain 6 11 Ukraine 6 9 Armenia 5 4 Northern Ireland 5 2 Group Seven Turkey 6 15 England 5 13 Slovakia 6 6 FYROM 6 5 Liechtenstein 5 1 Group Eight Bulgaria 5 11 Croatia 5 10 Belgium 6 10 Estonia 6 8 Andorra 6 0 Group Nine Wales 5 12 Italy 5 10 Serbia & Montenegro 6 8 Finland 6 6 Azerbaijan 6 4 Group Ten Switzerland 6 12 Ireland 6 10 Russia 5 7 Albania 6 5 Georgia 5 4 Based on the standings the following games are very important: Republic of Ireland - Russia (if Russia wins it becomes the favorite team to win the group) Iceland - Germany F.Y.R.O.M. - England (if England drop any points, Turkey has a huge advantage) Slovenia - Israel (it will probably decide the second place in their group) Bosnia-Herzegovina - Norway (will Norway avoid the setback that Denmark had by loosing to Bosnia?) Latvia - Poland (in a group that everthing is open, every game is important - last chance for Poland to achieve anything) Italy - Wales (If Wales don't lose, then it becomes the favorite team to win the group) Armenia - Greece The most important of all (for us :D ) With a win, we are booking tickets for Portugal
Kerr
Italy-Wales match will be a quality one! I hope such a talented player like Giggs finds a chance to appear in a major tournement.
Irlandos
Eire also face a tough test playing Russia at Lansdowne Road. The game is a "must" for the Republic as any other result will probably see them bidding farewell to the Euro 2004 finals.
Vaggar
Final results up to now Scotland - Faroe Islands 3-1 Sweden - San Marino 5-0 Andorra - Croatia 0-3 Republic of Ireland - Russia 1-1 (Switzerland should be very happy with this result)

Irlandos
The FYROM - England game looks like a friendly! The players are just not trying hard enough. The FYROM goal was a "freak": A Skopianos centered from the right almost on the ground; Sol Campbell tried to head (!) the ball which went right through him; a Skopianos forward fanned on his shot but the ball went farther left to yet another forward who shot. The ball hit a diving James on the leg and went in when I thought it would go out.
Irlandos
53rd minute and England equalise out of nothing: A deep Beckham cross; Heskey heads to the right and Rooney puts it away. I thought the Skopianos keeper should have reached the ball.
Vaggar
Is this the first goal of Rooney for England's NT?
Irlandos
Yes, and it makes Wayne Rooney the youngest player to score in an England uniform. In the meantime, England have gone in front 2-1 v. FYROM, thanks to a Beckham penalty.
Irlandos
Another final: Ukraine - N. Ireland 0-0. I hope our NT will take notice! The game in Leoforos will not be as easy as might think!
Panionios
Irlandara, this happened because Shevy didnt play.
Irlandos
Well, Shevchenko won't be playing in Leoforos either! What I am trying to say is that the game with N. Ireland should not be taken for granted.
