pao123 Posted January 22, 2012 Share Posted January 22, 2012 big win...decent display, similar sceniors to the past previous matches...we have come out slow, but took control in the second half. atromitos did not come out with the intention to win this match. they had a handfull of chances but their major goal it appears, was to block out to midfield and stack their defensive centre midfielders in their half, close to their back line. they did not have an attacking plan and basically only created one/two serious chances...our defense, overall did not face problems... i want to point something out...every game bjarsmyr has played in this season, we have managed to keep a clean sheet. he and karnezi have stepped in very nicely and have helped the team grid out these past wins. ferriera has also been pairing vitolo and simao together and although that does not help us too much offensively, our defense is very well protected with these players next to each other... bad news, both katsourani and vitolo got injured this match...lets hope its nothing serious, we have a very importart string of matches coming up and we need everyone fit. both players are very important to the team and we need them. lazaro is training in full and will hopefully be back vs levadiako this wednesday, nini has also started training with the rest of the squad...this givs us much needed reinforcements ad options in attack... quincy was great today, some great runs, good vision and a nice finish. it will be great to add lazaro into this mix. he is a player that can take many different positions as well, and will fit in nicely..
