Crazy
You guys should be happy to get the 1 point with the way that the game was played.AEK needed OFI to be with 10 players and one goal down to become quicker and to attack in a more normal and steady way.At the end you guys could have steal the game but the header of Edinho went just out.Juanfran was "fished" badly in the OFI goal time.Tough game and especially with a new coach and a new philosophy. aekmafia21
It is so apparent by watching aek week in week out the total lack player aquisitions i dont know how long i can take it ive gotten so moody grumpy the last 2 months ive been snapping at eveyone. Bajevic bravo for mixing up the line ups but we all know the problems that demi and donis did pre season. Blanco off hiS form djebour off his form edinho off his form maybe partially to blame but the real problem is the lack of service maybe The root of was has gone wrong is juanfran who looked like a dear in head lights basinas for just beeeing simply past his prime lagos broken down after his 23 month off
OriginalAEK
Has is occurred to anyone that maybe the players we have aren't sufficient and not the fault of Donis? Donis is a good coach. Let's make that clear. You need to remember that the team still has only one loss the on the season. The coach needs time to find the rhythm with it's players. This does not happen in week 10 or 12 of a season sometimes. Sometimes, it takes many weeks beyond that, perhaps a couple seasons. This is why Greek football is such a bordello. Give it a chance. If the team had no wins on the season then I would understand the reason behind getting rid of Donis. As for Demis, he made some interesting player transfers...maybe not enough. That's a whole different issue.
AEKARA-YIA-PANTA
OriginalAEK, you're right about creating chemistry and getting players to perform. Unforuntatley, fans get impatient, especially when expectations are high coming into a season. You're right, Donis is a good coach. Should he have been given more time to gel the team; maybe. But, 11 games in the season and a club like AEK has only 16 points to show, things are going to get hot. It didn't help Donis' case either that Demis left early on. This is not only the case in Greece, but happens everywhere in the world. The fans, most of the time, pressure management to make these decisions. To be honest with you, their voices should be heard. They are the ones generating revenue through ticket and merchandise sales. Sometimes, you have to make drastic changes to make an impact.
