HellasHab Posted June 16, 2008 Share Posted June 16, 2008 From Satleo, it looks like Kontominas (Alpha TV) is negotiating with German broadcasting giant RTL to bring them on as an investor in the company. Under the terms of this deal, RTL now owns 66.6% of Alpha TV and its other assets and Kontominas will retain 33.4% ownership. He will also be the president of the new company RTL has created that will be called Alpha Media Group. I wonder what changes are in store for Alpha TV now that the Germans own majority share? It was rumoured that they are not happy with how the channel is run.
