Transfer Rumours 2008

1. Koroman in the mix. Good and versatile side-winger of Red Star. Some papers/portals report a release clause of 600.000 that Aris should offer to get him and some don't believe in that small amount. It is not too little for Aris and we hope that his respect of Bajević that the man has and his willingness to play for us, could easen the things to acquire him.

2. Probably a striker will be our biggest transfer this summer. We have 2 in hands and we are about to finish examining the things and finally to decide somewhen this week. We don't want any 3rd party to potentially interfere and that's why we keep it in secret. Could be some big difference maker apparently.

3. As for a successor of Ivić, that could be someone from Argentina, apparently playing in one of the bigger clubs of that country.

*but generally our new players could be expected to come mainly from Ex-Yugoslavia (where Duško is boss) and Latin-America + Spain where Kontis has good links and control.

1. Piotr Wlodarczyk is officially our first transfer.

2. Everything is agreed with Argentinian CM Roberto Battion who will come on Saturday to sign.

3. Also we are 95% positive with the young French CD/DM Valentine Robertz (sp?) ex-member of PSG B team.

4. We are closing to a deal with Lembo (ex- Betis and Uruguay international defender)

*all taller than 185 cm ;)

According to Goal.com, the Argentine press are reporting the signing of Alejandro Delorte. A 30 year old Argentinian striker from Argentinos, is a massive 1.99m tall (6"6 inches tall).

Aris needed some height, and personally I'm a big fan of strikers this size because they always offer a threat. Look at players like Crouch, Koller, and Zigic. Even if they aren't playing well they are always a threat because all it takes is one delivery on to the guys head. So in cases where Aris are chasing games, throwing this guy on will give them hope.

Salva Ballesta is free from Malaga. Ex-top scorer of Primera is now in serious talks with Aris, as he said that he got very solid proposal from us, one of the best that he collected this summer.

Patrick Ogunsoto again linked to us. Not his first time, but the fact that all 5 non-EU spots are filled at the moment in Aris, makes the chance to come to us very difficult.

Again, young Venezuelan Joffren Suarez of Barca B is linked to us by Spanish media probably for the third time in last 2 years. In previous occasions he refused some proposals to leave Barca, but this summer he wants to leave, so is open for some discussions, not just with Aris.
