Irlandos
For the behaviour of a single fan, UEFA handed the Danes: a forfeit of their game v. Sweden, one game in an empty stadium and the rest of their qualifiers 200km outside Copenhagen (NB: this means outside Denmark). Now, N. Ireland have already played their away game v. Denmark and came away with a 0-0 draw before a hostile crowd. Sweden have been awarded their game v. Denmark on paper and Spain will have their away game on a neutral ground so...just whom did UEFA punish??? :(
loup
Very good point here Remember the game was 3-3 - although the sweeds had a penalty coming Denmark should be punished - but really Sweeden is rewarded but what is the best option?
Irlandos
We have seen a lot worse in Greece, England, etc. where the game was NOT abandoned! It is the ref's responsibility to try to complete the game. He could've walked off the field for 10 minutes so order could be restored and then continue. All this happened because of a single, solitary fan! Can't the Danish authorities handle that and punish the culprit? As for the remaining games, Odense or Aarhus should have been options just as Crete was for Greece
