  1. Against Georgia, 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 at least

I really want to see Saliakas or Kotsiras at RB, have a Galanopoulos or Siopis in the middle, and have Masouras/Tzolis on the left with Pelkas on CAM (although it will be Bakasetas or Baka at CAM and Pelkas hand on the right) and Douvikas up front. See how Giakoumakis does in the next month but he could be in the mix also.

Ultimately, dont need 3 CB's and only 3 attacking players in that game, go back to what we used to do which helped create chances that we are not doing now (but for the last 30 mins vs Sweden)

Against Sweden a similar approach that we saw yesterday

Very good..especially after that performance and his post match remarks.. I liked him a lot initially when he took over but after the last game I wanted him out.. I guess I would say let him finish this qualification and will see in November.

I just wish he would have set us up better vs Kosovo that was a tough one not to get 3pts. If Tzolis had been available even off the bench we would have found a second goal and finished them off.

I think I am on the same thought. I really liked what he did at the start, we were going nowhere and then started playing fast flowing football but that has not been seen this campaign but for the last 30 minutes vs Sweden were we looked to come out of our shell and play football, even Bouchalakis looked a totally different player.

JVS for me has so much promise, I would just hope he continues to do what makes us work and see that when you have players that can play balla like Tzolis for example, and get someone to work on the right wing we can do some damage.

The next two games are important, under JVS we are playing very well against big teams but really struggling to break down the Georgia's and Kosovo's and this simply can not continue.

In my view, the line up working against Sweden when we decided to snap out of playing like scared kids and took the game to them, this line up wont work against Georgia for example as we need to break them down (and from the first minute, we cant keep giving away so much time before we start to play), thus we need a more dynamic combo in the middle then Zeca-Bouchalakis and we need more on the right than expecting Androutsos to do it as he can't, he needs someone ahead of him.

Octobers games are gona be huge.

  3. 0-0 Half time. We are lucky Vlachodimos has made some big saves whilst Pavlidis had our one big chance.

In a nutshell, we have had possession but can only rely on crosses for chances at goals, Androutsos’s crosses have been poor like they were in Kosovo… go figure!!
Our midfield combo lacks the ability to go through the middle.. go figure.

Sweden have had little issues running through us and have had couple of huge chances we are lucky Vlachodimos saved.

Mavropanos really lost in the headlights when it comes to reading a header in a crowd.

Unless another attacker comes on soon and we can change things up, I see a draw or loss

I mentioned a few months ago that PAS Lamia will remain in the SL and I was right!

The team is run by a great President and staff and it will continue to decorate the SL for a long time to come!

This year the team started very early and has all its pieces together. The addition of Gentzoglou,Manousos,Manousakis,Mazoulouxis,Eleftheriadis Garavelis,Saranov,Nunez have done good to the team that looks forward to better and bigger things!

If we add a forward to the equation PAS Lamia will be on its way to possibly a European hunt!

    Time will tell!

I think they will do well, right now there are many weak teams in the SLGR and any team that takes the right step to a good build up will do well, I think they will be in the top half, interesting to see how it pans out.

Ps - yes, would be good if they can do something about their stadium

  5. We need to drop Bakasetas and Bouchalakis for this game, I know Mantalos has been very poor in both games (Swiss and Kosovo) but let him start and settle into the game, get Zeca with Siopis since we cant just throw Alexandropoulos into this game.

Also for the love of god, go in there strong from kick off, against both Swiss and Kos we were watching them play football in the first 20 mins, this is ridiculous.

    Lastly, play wingers!!!

Having gotten a chance to watch the game, I am just gutted.  We played terrible, well, neither team played well but the point is what happened to the pressing we saw in the friendly? What happened to the attacking?  You had the same players available for both games.

I used to defend JVS bc I thought we had started playing more attacking but something has changed.  In these three games, we have played horribly.  At the end of the day, you are what your record is and we are a winless team.  We may not lose, but we also don't win.  You can say we don't have the talent, but it doesn't take talent to run and press. The hustling that we had seen earlier is now gone.  If he loses the Sweden game, I see him being fired as we will be out of it.

He made a mess of the whole situation, we played two different game plans against Switzerland and Kosovo when we needed to work on a game plan to have us execute as best possible vs Kosovo, we ended up playing much better vs the Swiss with a LB at LW and an out of form Vrousai at RW but this still worked better than going with two strikers for the first time with only a CAM to support them and no real wingers on the field, only hope was Tsimikas runs on the left, this left us hamstrung, we had two strikers with little to do, I thought Pavlidis's hold up play was poor and Douvikas got one chance and finished it well but that's all we offered him.

When your spine is Bakasetas and Bouchalakis your always gona struggle, look at what Siopis was doing... you need guys that give 200% like him not these slow ass poodles, Bouchalakis had the ball punched out to him, open goal that needed a lob, he passed the ball back to the keeper... come on!!

This has a been a royal F*** up and JVS never learns from his mistakes

  7. Italy upsets the host country and wins on penalties after it finished 1-1 AET!

The Poms got it all wrong in pens, Southgate with key mistakes, putting on Rashford and Sancho right at the end of ET, they both missed their pens and then 19 yo Saka was given the last pen kick which was saved... no glory to England, Italy win their first Euro since 1968
