@Dean97 fair to see he has done that in the current NL Campaign

Yes, very good coach for their youth squads too. City had a party at the extraction of Kougias, who can blame them

Does anyone actually spend their time and money caring about these games?
Ahh yeah... dunno about money but why wouldn't we be interested in our u18's?

Unbelievable...

Terrible line up... disaster

Ok first half, we didn’t do too much really but second half was vintage Ethniki, holding possession and even creating chances.
Poyet is spot on, we need to put teams away, it’s crazy what we miss when we are 1-0 up.
Big statement with the game management today, we have not done that since the 2004-2014 days.
I hope we can get more going from both wings, Limnios and Baldock were good but the left, surprisingly didn’t offer anything.
Mantalos isn’t won’t ge able to go back to back games in as many days so I have a feeling Bouchalakis returns v Cyprus but would be amazing to see Alexandropoulos instead

Douvikas is not a winger...
On the game, very big 3 points and that the main thing.
The defence stood tall for a change and we kept the clean sheet which is good, my big concern is midfield still, the goal we worked well and thank god for that because besides that and the chance Limnios created again that Giakoumakis didnt get to we butchered every other counter attack when we had the Northern Irish players totally scrambling, wrong passes, horrible crosses etc... we could have easily had a second goal if we got some of these right.
Bouchalakis was horrid, could love to see anyone get a run over him right now.
Get someone else on the left wing also. Tzolis couldn't be worse than Mantalos, again, I dont consider Douvikas a winger.
Bakasetas - he can score but he with Bouchalakis in midfield is killing us, I am sure we can look to keep Baka there somehow but combined the can not control a game or keep possession and this is vital for us to get to another level.

Def nervous… midfield just doesn’t give me the confidence I want

Which we had some better midfield, rest of it is ok

Beating them has been mission impossible under JVS - Can Poyet wave the magic?

Can't be right, they are above us in Coef standings

First round?? Bloody hell

A truly horrific performance I wasn't expecting... personally, Bakasetas and Bouchalakis in the midfield does us no favours, they are far too slow and teams out run them as we saw in the previous two qualification campaigns.
Upfront clearly Giakoumakis needs to start in the main games. Our strong defence is now a fairy tale, we get broken up very easily.
Let's just hope Poyet learns from this game

Everything has pretty much been summed up but just wanted to say, Mantalos did play well so not sure why people wouldn't want him there if you don't want Bakasetas.
For me Limnios was disappointing, got out marked quite easily, Pelkas was active and at least got himself in better positions but his finishing and final pass were always terrible, that needs to improve.
Giakoumakis easily number 1 up top

@paokarag4 that is correct regarding Stafylidis at RB
That’s it, let’s see the game plan, still potential for a decent line up, just RB and CAM worry me

Thoughts -• Happy to see what Nikolaou can bring to the defense• Tzavellas, Stafylidis back - oh god Tzav’s club form has been poor, Staf…• Rota, please keep calm in the box (good in attack)• Kourfalidis• Vrousai, proven nothing at NT level would rather give the chance to Albanis, Lamprou or even Fetfatzidis• Decent attacking options, keen to see how Poyet uses them Would like to see Alexandropoulos get game time at this level

I'm fine with Manolas but I hope he doesn't call up Sokrates. He has nothing to offer anymore, especially in friendlies. We have strong, younger CB's, we should go with them.
Totally agree, Sokrates has been caught out a fair bit lately and age wise there is not much point with him now
