  1. of course he should over mantalos who is not even a winger. tziolis there looks like a suicide.
  2. as i said if we show another poor display skibbe's position will be in doubt at the very least. he has been given ANOTHER chance to get the second place and he fields up a questionable starting 11. he blew it away against estonia, then cyprus made us a gift, belgium made us another gift now so if we don't win there are no excuses for him.
  3. ffs if we blow this away i'll be very depressed btw bosnia will be the worst runner up if they end up second in our group, that's 100% assured.
  4. of course it's a much more balanced group be real. wales in fact reached the semi in the latest euros and threw out our pot 1 team belgium, bosnia didn't even qualify for the euros while austria who for some reason you don't think are a good team also reached the euros, and ireland from pot for who guess, they also reached the euros and made it to the round of 16 unlike our pot 4 team which was freaking estonia. also georgia are no gibraltar to have 6 guaranteed points agains tthem.
  5. what does being a pot 3 team mean? serbia was also a pot 3 team and they got a much more balanced group than ours and yet they're on top of their group and they just need to beat georgia at home to qualify for the world cup
  6. belgium is playing so unispiring and once fellaini got out they lost the midfield and conceded twice in 10 minutes. if they lose this one we just have to blame ourselves. i think the team will be down against cyprus if bosnia wins this one
  7. jvc if you consider successful a campaign in which we don't even reach the playoffs then we have nothing more to discuss.
  8. ffs this bosnian team is actually going to playoffs? gratz on dropping points to estonia at home guys
  9. no he's suspended for 3 games by the portuguese federation that's why he wasn't on the bench for them.
  10. that's the most rumoured line up atm...... karnezis, tzavellas-sokratis-manolas-maniatis, tziolis-zeca, mantalos-fortounis-stafylidis, mitroglou if he starts tziolis over samaris, maniatis as a back instead of stafylidis and mantalos instead of christodoulopoulos and we don't get the result which would bring us 2nd skibbe will be responsible of his actions.
  11. they look good..take into account that this generation misses retsos and donis who have been called up to the men's nt..pretty talented squad with many players from gsl big-4 there. we just beat moldova away (0-2) and in 3 days we're hosting san marino which should be a big margin victory. we should fight with croatia for the first place.
  12. i don't think samaris is out? it was reported he was ill but now he recovered. he should start because he's a pure midfielder and not a centre back.
  13. you forgot the wales-ireland draw and the norway win over nothern ireland.
  14. will be dissapointed if we don't make it to the playoffs with the latest results man...plenty of opportunities to exploit..
  15. would be great if they had dropped points but still the wales-ireland is the key game. also at the moment i find it more likely for scotland not to beat slovenia on the road than wales drawing ireland. i think we have more chances going onto that game. we'll have to see if croatia's group will be on the mix after this matchday too.
  16. unlikely for france to slip. that's why their draw against luxembourg is a good result because it cancels sweden's 8 out of 18 goals and netherlands 4 out of 16 (So far). unless you think france can lose to bulgaria or belarus which i don't think so.
  17. in fact luxembourg draw is better. they won't end up as a last placed teams which means it will be belarus instead. that way sweden's 8 goals against belarus won't count, so netherland's 4+ (they play together tomorrow). so sweden at the moment are in +1 and have to play netherlands in the last matchday. quite possibly they're losing and they're sitting behind us in goal difference. and the most important part is that they will be seeded in the playoffs which means if they fail to advance there a spot is open up for a relatively easier opponent.
  18. another defencer for bosnia out - vrsajevic rs georgia drawing wales is not impossible. they already did that in cardiff, why couldn't draw them at home without bale? last time wales barely escaped from moldova with two late goals. i find a draw at this game as a quite possible result. after did anyone expect luxembourg to draw france? we're in a better position than it looked already a month ago.
  19. finally good news. scotland beat slovakia and england beat slovenia as we wanted to do. now if scotland doesn't beat slovenia away we're in always assuming we got the results we need from our group. we'll have to take a glimpse at this group too now. btw yes nire can still go out. currently they're at +4 in goal difference and greece is in +3 (minus their games against san marino and ours against gibraltar.) well basically if they lose to norway then we'll be even on goals and (hopefully points too)in the worst case which they lose only with one goal difference. then even a 1-0 victory against cyprus is enough.
  20. highly unlikely though. slovakia a man down. still 0-0 england hasn't scored yet too, while denmark is leading in montenegro.
  21. nothern ireland are already qualified hence it doesn't matter whether they win or lose.
  22. well yeah just read it..real shame about that. i expect something like that now karenzis, torosidis, sokratis, manolas, tzavellas, samaris, zeca, fortounis, lazaros, stafylidis, mitroglou. it's obvious we don't have a variety of offensive options but with karelis and donis out it gets watered down. do we know if any cypriot player will miss the game?
  23. im reading he didn't got injured in ethniki's training but in stuttgart's one. is it official however? i thought we'd have to wait until saturday for medical report's results.
  24. koutris and mpakakis are coming from behind no need to play zeca there. also torosidis is 32, i think he could be around until the next campaign much like karagounis did. it's not like we have a plethora of better options plus he provides leadership which will be missed once he decides to step down.
  25. comparing greece latest game with belgium is not a right approach. we had a defensive formation at 4-4-1-1 and 2 world class defenders. if we had gone there all out attack they would have slaughtered us. bosnia however will miss 3 out of 4 starters of their defence and pjanic with his replacement as a '10' also being out. they will have to go all out attack and that would mean they will concede a couple of goals rather easily. also they're not strong in the midfield and pjanic missing leaves a bigger gap there. and to those who say it's a must win game for bosnia and they will take it. games against greece at first place and cyprus were also must win games but they failed miserably. the only way i see bosnia reaching the playoffs is by greece failing to beat cyprus. and that won't happen. ps. today we have the first qualifying games. we need scotland to beat slovakia and england to beat slovenia, as well as montenegro to draw denmark. that leaves other groups more open than ours and adds potential candidates for the worst second placed teams.
