thanks that you registered only to reply for me. tziolis was playing for pao and paok teams that were doing well in cl and el. he sort of retired now by choosing to play in saudi arabia, he's heading to 33, it's ok. forum's darling fetfatzidis looks like is stuck in such a league in the age of 25 which is sad. stop claiming he deserves a call up. he doesn't. im sure none of you have ever watched him playing since he moved from olympiakos. he's OVERWEIGHT and his so called speed in this level will be the same of tziolis.
-
first of all why do you think i want tziolis getting called up? i have bashed him and skibbe for that reason many times. and please STOP with fetfatzidis obsession. he's like 25 YEARS OLD and there's no SANE CLUB which would like to sign him. HENCE HE'S PLAYING IN SAUDI ARABIA. at least tziolis played football in paok and a good panathinaikos team and reached 32 before going there. regarding the 'best talent to come out of greece' argument about fetfatzidis i'll just try to insist and not laugh. ps kone would be a great addition to this team but the dude missed the whole offseason and has no games with aek even in the cup.pity.

of course he's not nt material..paokarag4 explained it perfectly. for a team like greece which wants to be tournament regulars second league players have no place around the team. if his team gets the promotion for the primera division then he's a welcome addition. at the moment he's no difference maker in spain's second division. anyways regardless of his club he's not useful in this level. how can a player who doesn't shine in his specific club has a place into a team which are on the pace for the world cup ticket? also if bouchalakis was any good then there would be more clubs interested in him instead of marinakis' nottingham....
-
gianniotas and bouchalakis no. they're benchwarmers in b division sides. same for diamantakos and vellios. that's why there shouldn't even be any talk for them about getting called up in the nt. offensive line should be this mantalos-fortounis-donis-lazaros mitroglou-karelis-mpakasetas maybe pelkas too. that's it. gianniotas doesn't even shine in segunda division, once he manages to be relevant for a respectable side the ok. at the moment im hoping for limnios and lamprou to step up. heck even manthatis and androutsos would be better picks.

spanoudakis was injured for some time, he came back and played for stuttgart's youth team in a friendly game last week. also he's not u21 material because he's 1998 born which means he will be called up for the u19 team which has already happened. as far as your options are concerned, i agree about kourmpelis, siopis, lykogiannis and karelis and i'd also put galanopoulos. bouchalakisis not nt material though and we have more promising players than pelkas around. but i wouldn't mind trying him out in a friendly game.
-
savvas mourgos is playing for norwich u23, as well as spanoudakis for stuttgart's one. there are also douvikas of asteras tripolis who will be sold to a spanish la liga side if im not mistaken on january, of course androutsos who has been drawing interest from many big clubs and charisis who's playing for a side in belgium and is being targeted from bundesliga clubs. them along with fortounis and mantalos will be on the nt going on to post 2020 decade
-
gianniotas should better prove himself in a big stage before he earns a starting spot because at the moment he has had spells in cyprus, mid-table greek teams and second spanish league and basically shouldn't even be around in a team like greece. however both him and out second league benchwarmers like diamantakos and vellios take advantage of the fact that we have no other players in their positions. or basically we do have, but they're either injured(karelis) or ignored(lazaros) u21 and u19 teams have a lot of talent up front (androutsos, lamprou, limnios, manthatis, mourgos, spanoudakis, douvikas etc) so once these guys explode the likes of mpakasetas, vellios, diamantakos and gianniotas will be watching the team from their homes.

can someone tell me how sane is to criticize players judging by their performance agaisnt the best in the world? sokratis lost lukaku twice and that basically cost us 3 points overall. the fact that he got abused by lukaku tho means s%$#! because lukaku is a world class striker.. it's like expecting olympiakos to perform against barcelona but being dissapointed and talking s%$#! about them because they can't do that!!!
-
their clubs have no say. i remember 2 weeks ago hamburg's kostic (serbian) was prevented from his club to join serbian squad in the game against georgia that would send them to the world cup. of course tous egrapse sta a*****a tou and joined the team. also if manolas is back by 5th november as expected it means he will have played at least 1 game with roma until then.

i think it's obvious i'm being sarcastic. samaris is our best midfielder yet some people think he has no business in the team. obviously they know better than benfica officials as i said. they should apply for the scouter's job sooner than later
-
kick samaris out, phantis forums members seem to know more than benfica's officials.

re-tard(a) you sound like a <20 kid but i won't be surprised if you actually are so here it is; making an argument of how bad a player is, pointing out his mistake against a TOP-5 NT in the world is not smart fella. i hope you get to see your championship/superleague/tziolis type of players instead of him though.
-
still we have like 20 days to go for the games so we'll have to wait for injuries which will occur (hopefully not) to have a clear picture. i just hope we won't go out there playing only in our own half. croatia are definitely a worse team than belgium and we controlled the game nicely against them. 0-1 away 0-0 at home :D
-
0-0 is not a good result because if we concede a goal at home it will be impossible to make it. id rather try to score at zagreb, wouldn't mind an 1-1 draw for example. anyways id take a scoreless draw too, but we don't need to open up at home. the way i see it we better score an away goal, concede 1 at the worst case and come back home to defend till death. id try to 'win' a couple of yellow cards to their players that are one yellow away from suspension. it would be huge.

it looks like skibbe would be done in case we'd miss the playoffs, the rumour has been flying around this morning. not that id agree with that but missing the playoffs after having the upper hand for the most of the campaign would be devasting. he must be thankful the cyprus game was late in the campaign otherwise i could see us easily missing it the way we did play for the most part. it wasn't that pretty tbh.
