Ian Daly... yes I remember him, I think he has been transfered to us together with Delorte, Gracian and the rest of Argentinian guys. I didn't know Roberge plays in Cyprus, I think Toni Calvo plays also there. Javito was playing last year in an uknown team of Segunda Division B.

I am pretty sure that Danilo has some caps with the national portuguese team. Interesting player. He has played in all 5 champions league matches of Porto and scored a goal against Leipzig.

Doxa, Panachaiki and OFI are the main contenders of us for the promotion, i.e. the matches against them count for double. I just noticed that Doxa has conceded just one goal in six matches this season and I also recall that two years ago (in FL2) they have beaten us in both matches.

I didn't watch the match, I am wondering if Platellas (mainly) and Diamantopoulos absences were so obvious. Exactly, there is just one player of Aris in front of the scorer. Our GK is 3-4 meters behind him.

Great post and analysis, REY! Some personal remarks: Our weakest line is definitely the DM. My favourite players are Souza, Tzanakakis and Platellas. I like also Dounis, Pavlidis and Diamantopoulos. Passas is worst than Kapnidis, Milunovic is an unpleasantg surprise, IMO we miss a better subtitution for Diamantopoulos upfront. What's going on with Anakoglou, when will he be back?

I just noticed that Panachaiki has a new emblem, the surprising thing in my opinion is that they replaced their historic red with purple. Anyway, Mitsos is right, when we play with promotion direct opponents, points are golden, a victory on Saturday will strengthen our leading position for good.

We were extremelly dull in the first 20 minutes and 2-0 looked like a fair score. In the second half we had plenty of great chances and it was obvious that it was matter of time to score 2-3 or even more goals. Ergotelis during all the match tried to play and not to destroy, this was crucial for us to steal balls and find open spaces, as well.

It is still early to tell, but Aris looks tougher and better prepared for the conditions of Football League than last year. Nevertheless, I don't see any player (Platellas maybe) who can make the difference quality-wise.
