Firstly, how do you spot this stuff all the way from Sweden haha??? Good on you though.

Haha, I just have a genuine interest in the Greek teams situated in the diaspora and therefore I'm trying to follow Hellas and Olympic the best I can.

If the bid is accepted I hope the majority of you Greeks down under put rivalries aside and all support Hellas in the A-league. Without having too much information about the Greek community in Australia it would probably benefit a lot from having a Greek team in the A-league, which is probably why "they" are hesitating to let Hellas in..

  2. @Bananas Had not seen the article but I'm well aware of the syndesmo and have also spoken a few times with the chairman. It's the first of two syndesmoi here in Sweden and the guys are very active, supporting the club and its different departments whenever they get the chance!

(Admin, can you move my and bananas' posts to the syndesmoi-topic? http://forums.phantis.com/topic/14535-gate-4-and-other-paok-fan-clubs/)

I will not comment on the site itself, but this was a quite interesting find.

Everything read is according to how the Turkish propaganda works. You will soon see how Erdogan will claim these Turks being badly treated and how the Turkish state must intervene to protect their people. Wouldn't surprise me if he suggests some sort of referendum also. This is also why we can't let the Turks get the visa free travel, they would quite quickly settle on small Greek islands, Thrace and Cyprus.

Also, remember that organizations as the one described in the first link are often in direct connection to Erdogan and AKP. We've had some scandals here in Sweden with elected parliamentarians that have been ultra-nationalistic Turks and been in direct contact to the Grey wolves's Swedish section. They all had connections to AKP and some association they've set up and sponsor that work for Turkey's cause in European countries.
