I had completely forgot Lucas. If we can get 6-7 million from a potential transfer of his and 4 for Mak then maybe Savvidis will spend 10-15 on transfers this summer. Of course, that's just wishful thinking but with 10 million or more in transfer income we should be able to $pend.
-
Good to start and finish in Toumba.
Too bad we won't have fans in any of the games in Toumba.
-
But isnt that Turkish at the same level of Paok? Maybe lower?
The club is below PAOK's level but the league is better. The problem is the costs, he would probably cost between 6 and 8 million euro. Add a million or two for his sign-on bonus and then about 1 million/year. Savvidis has never spent such money before on a transfer.
Mak will probably get sold, but his clause is only 4 million. The best would be if we can extend Mak's contract and put a higher clause, but that's not likely.

PAOK - Olympiakos u15 live

Hopefully we'll end the season with a trelo partaki on Thursday

Aris attendances are fourth when the team is not doing well and top three when the team is doing well.
Aris gets more crowds in this division than majority of European clubs playing in UEFA league.
Lies.

Salpi not invited?
Unfortunately, he wasn't.
-
Don't forget the basketball match against AEK tomorrow. With a win we're going through to the semifinal, where we probably will meet Aris.
-
Hope we lose so the team can win the title and finish the season in a full Palataki.
-
Pana97// Savvidis probably got convinced by his son Georgios to not invite Salpi because he wanted to impress the hools that hate him because he went to PAO.
-
What's Salpi up to these days? Haven't heard much about him since leaving Paok.
Don't know actually. There was a rumour about him going to Sparti about six months ago. Other than that, nothing.
-
Stupid decision to not invite Salpi.

Dutch Eagle// Isn't it 3p for AEK? 13/5=2,6=3
If they get 3p deducted then they will start with 10/5=2
-
0-0 FT
A win today would have given us 1p in the play-offs.
A draw or a win for Panionios would have given AEK 2p instead of 3p.

Got very happy with today's result and it felt good seeing the joy in the crowd's and Savvidis's eyes. Shame we can only get joy from watching a sport we've never come across before.

I think Wales is part of the UK. There is no Welsh passport for example.
Ah okay, sounds logical. I've read that if Catalunya would vote and part from Spain then Barcelona are welcome to play in France but that might not be true. I don't have any information about what's possible or not but if possible I can't see why 2-3 or 4 Cypriot would not be welcomed into the GSL. Especially as the GSL has hit rock bottom.
-
I think there might be a legal problem doing that.
Maybe. But Swansea and Cardiff are both from Wales and they play in Premier League. The turks would probably try to do their best to stop it but why would they have any influence in that?
It's been done before. I think there was a thread about this in one of the other subforums (regarding entirely merged leagues) - the Cypriot teams don't have the money or fan base to be competitive, and will eventually find themselves pushed out to the second division. Let them have their own league.
If we're talking about all teams, yes you're right. But Apoel and Omonia would probably attract between 10-15k every game and that would place them before PAOK, AEK and PAO. 12 out of the 16 teams in GSL have average attendances of 2k or below, why not replace those with 3-4 clubs from Cyprus?
To add, this would be good for the Enosi-movement.
-
Seriously guys, why can't the 8-10 best teams of Greece make a new league with the 4 best of Cyprus? The reality is that the soccer in Greece is almost dead and I think a merge like this would be a good injection. Apoel, Omonia and Anorthosis currently have better attendances than 12 out of the 16 teams in SuperLeague and the attendances would probably increase a lot with a merge with the Greek teams.

Don't get why PAOK don't go play the 2nd leg, one goal from PAOK and its game on, I know the 1st leg was bad but now after all this drama there is no way the same things will repeat themselves.... They really should've appointed foreign refs for all kypello games and not just if its an AEK vs Oly final.
^^^ megale I hope he keeps to his word and they don't go and that will show others its time for change....

I think you've misunderstood, Bajewy. Kush is not food, Kush is something you smoke.

We were down 2-0 but turned the match in our favour and won 2-3.
Were leading the match series with 2-0. A win on monday in Palataki will take us to the final.
