Savvidis sees Santos as the only coach out there that can pretty much guarantee no backlash on himself for the decision of coach.
-
As a coach you never call out a player by name in a negative manner. You have to be diplomatic. Tudor called out 2 young talents by name, and compared them negatively to their counterparts on their biggest rival team. Tudor sealed is fate, Amateur move from an amateur coach with no control of his emotions.

Santos was in Thessaloniki today, and according to reports we're offering him $5M
-
The rumor is that we're out to get Santos....THAT dictates the playing style.
-
So the current rumor is the Santos Era will be back in effect this summer. If true, are we ready for the boring 1-0 and 0-0 games.....the 8 people on defense with the "long ball & pray" offense?

SL-R26: Panaitolikos - PAOK (12-Mar-16, 19:30 GR)

Didn't Cimirot say he will most likely be ready for this match, and that the level of his injuries were previously exaggerated? -
Konstandinidis is fragile, and has been injury prone for a few years. (even in the small team) Vitor I'd keep as a bench player, but is a liability against any team we would face in European competition. Tzabellas is a big ol tumor in the team. A freaking cancer that probably most locker room issues can be traced back to. Again, let's keep in mind what we're talking about. If you want to fight for 2nd again next year than fine. Keep them. If we want to be competative in Euro and League (cup AND Championship) they just won't do.

According to PAOK's new president/Technical Director or whatever he is, Lubos Michel, We have already come to an agreement with our coach for next year, but cannot announce who it is because he currently on another team.
-
This is what I wish the scenario was after this season....
-
hahahahaha...

So, Boys and Girls lets recap this season so far. We got a new technical director who found us an inexperienced coach. These 2 guys decided who had to leave, I think 11 players in total....and these 2 guys decided who to sign, I believe 12 signings in total....now the Technical Director is gone. The Coach is gone. Thank the Good Lord that Olsen has found a new home, but what the hell happens now? I think that Klaus, Tzabellas, Tziolis, Vitor, Kitsiou, Korovesis, Jairo, Leovac, and (maybe) Pelkas are either dropped or loaned out.
-
Remember who said it first. 2 posts up! Tudor is history. Ivic takes over for the rest of the season. Hopefully the dislike of the coach played a major role in the teams performance, and the boys can finish strong. Now if we can get Klaus and Tzabellas to leave, we'd be on the right track.

I've always stood behind what Blackhawk just mentioned. This year they had to pay to unload dead weight. Some of the talent he brought on seems decent....but with all the other negative factors of this season (Early European matches, late Transfers, Late signing of coach, unloading dead weight, OLSEN, Injuries, injuries, injuries, Perpatov, Lucas not staying..) We never stood a chance. I'm just surprised how with 10 minutes and google, I found that every previous team considered his stint with the team a failure. Even the 5 years at Chelsea, between the press, fans and management, are considered a huge waste of money and time.

Were those players already established? I can sign Ronaldo and Messi if you give me enough money.
-
...because you need Fortounis and Indeje to beat Panthrakikos...

Listen.... I am the reigning record holder of most Red cards given in the Hellenic U14 league, since 1990. I'll just give them the crazy eyes, and get a red. I'll fit right in. -

Klaus out due to yellows as well....lol...it's like a comedy show now. -
It won't be long now until he's tossed. You can't come out and say things like "Pelkas and Mystakidi are no Fortouni and Indeje" and expect the team to back you. When you call out young players like that by name, it's a shitty thing to do. Is he right? Of course he's right. Throwing players under the bus is NOT how you develop young talent. He lost my respect with that line.
-
He broght Vander Vaart to Chelsea from Tettenham (his Former team), then brings him to Hambur FC from Chelsea, and THEN tried to throw that kourada in our face as well.
-
The general consensus amongst Chelsea supporters is he's trash. Of all the young talent he recruited, none ever made it to the big leagues....his time at Hamburg FC is also considered a failure by all the Bundesliga reports I've come across. Here's a quotoe from the ESPN article, does the wording sound familiar? http://www.espnfc.us/story/1456592/hamburg-confirm-frank-arnesen-departure ...and everywhere he goes, he tries to bring his patsavoures along for the ride. The stories have all been there for year....unfortunately the Greek version of Due Dilligence is pulling up someones Wiki page.
-
yeah...but there is usually some truth rooted in the rumors.
-
I heard there was a story released about how PAOK got rid of Arnesen after realizing he's a con artist, who conned Chelsea for years out of millions and that he was chased out of Hamburger....just carrying over a bunch of failed Chelsea prospects...and always blaming managements unwillingness to be patient with young nobodies. I can't find it, but it's an interesting "theory".

SL-R25: Panthrakikos - PAOK (06-Mar-16, 15:00 GR)

Let's think about this for a second. If PAOK didn't s%$#! their pants the last 5 minutes of every game, we would have 54 points in the league. 54.
