  1. FT 5-0 as Christo predicted.
  2. And there is Christos’ 5-0. Misic scores his first goal.
  3. Misic needed only a few minutes to “score” his first yellow card.
  4. Goal Akpom but offside.
  5. Douleue, sklave! And 4-0.
  6. and there is our third one!
  7. Matos had just one match suspension after his red card (2 yellows) and is available for the next SL game. Shakov is suspended in one of the next four games after his fourth yellow. Don’t know if this is allowed against PAS Giannena, as that would be the easiest opponent, and this game is that postponed one.
  8. Away-goals. But I don’t think we have to do a math-excercise.
  9. I had that kind of score in mind too.
  10. 1-0 and 2-2 aggregate.
  11. And what, alani mou?!
  12. Here are the stats for his National team: https://eu-football.info/_player.php?id=28489 He played about 1,5 game at the WC and 3 in the NL.
  13. Another goal for Koulouris as Atromitos leads 0-1 at Xanthi right now.
  14. It is Shaktar that is interested in Chatzeridi. They want him as a replacement for Rakitskyy if they sell that guy to Zenit Leningrad (don’t like their new name).
  15. Bravo Stefane! He is the first Greek ever in a quarterfinal of a Grand Slam and he is heading to a position close to the top 10 of the ATP-ranking as his quarterfinal guarantees him 360 valuable points and others lose theirs from last year(s).
  16. And what a debut they had today! Both lads were subbed in in the second half and Pavlidis provided the assist for Vrousai to make the essential 2-0 in the last minute of the game.
  17. Olympiakos did not lose any points today as they won 1-2 at PAS Giannena.
  18. https://tv.paokfc.gr/video/paok-panionios
  19. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
  20. Willem II has added two Greek youngster to their roster. Marios Vrousai from Olympiakos and Vangelis Pavlidis from VfL Bochum (Germany). Both players are Greek Youth-internationals and will be playing on loan-basis in The Netherlands.
  21. Expensive? Maybe, maybe not, but I like the idea of bringing younger players of 24/25 with experience at World Cups instead of 30+ like we used to. The latter have no transfer value after 3 years. How many players left us without even a fee? Too much players and thus more expensive. Bring those kind of guys. They bring us to another level and then sell them to a club that pays 10 mil. Win-win-situation.
  22. In Dutch maths I count 3.5 Greeks. Or is one of Paschalakis, Kitsiou and Limnios suddenly from another country? In the lineup Blackhawk there are 3.5 too. But on a serious level. Teams with more than a few homegrown players are rare these days. Players with two passports, EU-rules that allow a citizen to work (read: play football) in all the other EU-members without permits or whatsoever. General globalisation. Arsenal has played games against Spanish opponents with more Spaniards then the Spanish team. If you can not afford foreigners you stick to players from your country. On another global forum there is a guy “bragging” every week that Pana again played with x Greek players. We know that this has nothing to do with patriotism or willing to lift the level of Greek players or a new adapted vision. They to this because the are ordered to and are on short rations.
  23. Great result for Stefanos. He can challenge Roger now. Difficult but not impossible. He has beaten a lot of top 10 players last year. Even 4 of them in just one week in Toronto. And in the Hopman Cup he just lost with two tie-breaks against Federer and beated him with Sakkari in the mixed doubles. Sakkari’s opponent is strong. I incidentally saw her last week playing the final in Hobart. No need to be ashamed of this result. On the contrary: this must give confidence.
