Man, we had three people in that play who could of/should have scored. Great job by Prijovic to save that

GOAL PRIJOVICCCCCC

Ahhh Biseswar juuuust too slow to take advantage of that sick pass. Nice fake-out by Prijovic for that, too bad it tricked Biseswar too
-
Great pass to Prijovic, he just couldn't quite control it. Henrique's being shut down, Blackhawk is right that Iraklis is playing better

Iraklis the better team on the field so far.
If the ref does not start showing some yellows, there will be injuries to PAOK players in the game
Some of these hits are way over the top

You are a special snowflake and don't you let anyone tell you otherwise, file

Great quality on that stream.

Leovac good to go.
Glykos
Matos Malezas Crespo Leovac
Cimirot Charisis
Warda Biseswar Henrique
Prijovic

Something tells me we'll see Henrique on the right side over Campos...

Xanthi beat Panathinaikos 1-0 at home. Good result for us, hopefully we can capitalize on this and buy ourselves a 4-point buffer to them tomorrow.
Hopefully Xanthi doesn't suddenly experience a renaissance. That can wait until after the cup match.
-
Serbia and Prijovic both reportedly working on the paperwork for his first cap with their NT. That was fast.
-
Reportedly, Shakhov is going to start again, this time vs Croatia. Good to see him getting noticed.
-
Leovac went home early from training due to a viral infection, he may be questionable for this game.
Mistakidis had a minor injury vs Schalke and trained separately today. I bet we won't see him until the cup game.
On the plus side, Canas is coming up on the end of his rehab and should be training normally soon. Open question whether or not he'll be available vs Olympiakos (hopefully he will be).
-
True. As long as we don't go wingerless again, I'll remain confident.
-
Lyon is spanking AZ Alkmaar, and Tottenham is currently tied 1:1 vs Gent (who is still up 1-2 on aggregate). Hopefully these two results continue to go "our" way.
-
Panionios is playing Olympiakos this match day as well. A good chance to stake a claim on second place.
I think our strongest lineup is pretty clear. Only question mark is who between Crespo and Malezas will get the start. Great that these three have all been playing so well. Kace seems like he still needs to develop some chemistry with this new-look team, I'd say give Charisis the start there.

--Mistakidis--Warda--Henrique--

I've heard he's been doing well but haven't had a chance to watch any games recently. If he lives up to the hype I"m seeing, hopefully he'll make a solid move in the future. The guy's got real talent.
-
Looking at other results from the first half of today's games - Ajax, Besiktas both won (which is bad for us).
For people who like Cyprus, APOEL knocked out Athletic Club Bilbao in what must have been a real fistfight of a match (both sides down to 10 men)

^ where were you during the games we won?

Kitsiou and Mystakidis started as wingbacks. When he left, Crespo played as a fullback

Here's the press conference. Starts about a half hour in. I'm just beginning it, but Ivic is quick to give props to Poungouras.

I think Warda is better than Biseswar. He is younger and quicker. He should be the starter in the big games. Let Biseswar play in the easier games.
Henrique is fine, but Ivic should have a word with him to concentrate more on the game. That handball today was very stupid.
I was impressed with Poggouras. He preformed well under pressure in a big game. Even saved our ass at the end to keep the game tied.
Another decision Ivic has to make is who will be Prijovic's backup. Klaus or Koulouris?
I'm inclined to agree with Warda, I just want to temper my expectations. We've only seen him three times after all. One of which was for five minutes. The difference in energy alone is very exciting to see. I think Ivic is going to use this guy a lot.
For Henrique - my concern is definitely not his skill. There seems to be a mental thing there - either he's really overexcited, or he has trouble controlling his temper. The guy is picking up cards like it's his job.
For Poungouras...what a good performance for the li'l guy. I did not expect him to look as good as he did. I'd be surprised if we don't see him a few more times this season.
And as for the last one - whichever scores first. I'd say Koulouris, personally. And in 1.5 years, Lamprou.

Well now he HAS to do it, right?
Henrique possibly injured, we might be seeing Pelkas or Campos come in. Pelkas reportedly warming up.
Also, why does Warda's jersey # change every other game?
