  1. Guys didn't watch the game but Mitro looked quite lively in the highlights. Turned in the box and had a great chance deflected off target and his link up play with Fortounis was good. He just needs some support up front, at Benfica with Jonas alongside the two work hard for each other. Sometimes Jonas scores and sometimes Mitro scores. With Samaris he's been playing at CB for Benfica for the last two months, perhaps this affected his game a little?
  2. Hahaha WTF the m#$%! has been sent from Germany to complete the fking over of Greece by Germany.
  3. Managerial career[edit] At the age of 22, he started his career as coach with Schalke 04 youth team. Borussia Dortmund[edit] In 1989, Skibbe became a youth coach for Borussia Dortmund. German national team[edit] He gave up this post after being offered the position as director of the German national team. In 2000, he became its head coach.Rudi V?ller, however, made most of the decisions, but didn't have a coaching license and thus couldn't be the official head coach. After Germany was eliminated in the first round of UEFA Euro 2004, V?ller and Skibbe resigned from their positions. Skibbe was director of the youth system of the German Football Association from 24 August 2004 to 8 October 2005. Bayer 04 Leverkusen[edit] Skibbe became head coach of Bayer Leverkusen on 8 October 2005.[4] Skibbe was sacked from Bayer Leverkusen on 18 May 2008 after missing out on Europe.[5] Galatasaray[edit] On 11 June 2008 Skibbe agreed with the Turkish football club Galatasaray.[6] He won the Turkish Super Cup after a 2?1 victory against Kayserispor.[7][8] Galatasaray failed to qualify for the group stages of the UEFA Champions League after they lost 3?2 on aggregate to Steaua Bucuresti.[9] Skibbe was sacked from Galatasaray on 23 February 2009, after a heavy 5?2 loss to Kocaelispor.[10] Eintracht Frankfurt[edit] On 4 June 2009, Eintracht Frankfurt announced that Skibbe would succeed Friedhelm Funkel as head coach of the club.[11] On 22 March 2011, after a decline in the Bundesliga, Skibbe was sacked by the club.[12] Eski?ehirspor[edit] On 17 July 2011, Eski?ehirspor announced that Skibbe would succeed B?lent Uygun as head coach of the club.[13] On 27 December 2011, Skibbe's contract was dissolved to make way for his move to Hertha BSC.[14] Hertha BSC[edit] Skibbe was officially released from Eski?ehirspor to make way for his Hertha BSC move on 27 December 2011.[14] After five losses in five games with the team, Skibbe was sacked from Hertha BSC on 12 February 2012.[15] Karab?kspor[edit] On 17 May 2012, he was formally introduced as the new manager of Karab?kspor for 1+1 years.[16] Skibbe left the club on 5 November 2012. The club's management met thereby Skibbe's desire of realignment.[17] Return to Eski?ehirspor[edit] On 12 January 2015, it was reported that Skibbe had taken over Turkish S?per Lig side Eski?ehirspor as the new manager. He had been coach of the club before in 2011 for six months.[18] Greece[edit] On 29 October 2015, the Hellenic Football Federation hired him as the new head coach of the national team. He was hired as the successor of Sergio Markari?n due to the team's unsuccessful qualification for UEFA Euro 2016.[19] What in the world gave them the idea that he could succeed with us?
  4. Can't believe this s%$#! FFS. Finally a coach unlocks the secret to attacking Greek football and he's replaced by a stubborn defensive Germano. W
  5. Epic finish. Coming along very nicely now. The future of the Ethniki.
  6. OMG, even Albania have qualified automatically! WTF how are we not in this Euro. What a Greek tragedy.
  7. Hate to say it but we were all wrong about Santos, he had us over achieving no doubt now. Would kill to have him back as well as a fit katsou and kara. These guys played with passion. I mean FFS Tziolis? The guy has been proven to not be good enough many a time. We need to bite the bullet and build for the future.

  9. Yeah nah, if he's no good he wouldn't have been playing like earlier in the season. He forced his way into the team and kept his position. You are assuming he was no good for them on the basis of what?
  10. Samaris is a great distributer, even for the Ethniki. Katsou used to cop it for lack of movement off the ball as well but I guess as a DM that's what happens.
  11. Anyone know if Samaris played for Benfica against PSG?
  12. Someone needs to put a ******* :xxx: in that German ***** Merkel. All the Germans can GAGF, disgrace of a country with disgusting people. Note: I edited your post; please refrain from terroristic threats or inappropriate language in this forum. Athinaios
  13. I actually really like what he had to say. Everyone is hurting. We need to rediscover our identity and we need to start preparing for WC 2018 qualification.
  14. Re I can't believe it is minimum 3 years until we see the Ethniki in a big tournament again. Heartbreaking stuff. I am gutted. This feeling will be multiplied X100 12 months from now when countries are gearing up for the Euro 2016 and we are practice bunnies for them in useless friendlies. Fk me this is really fkd up.
  15. Karneizs beaten at his near post though.....almost criminal.
  16. I agree with most of that but I disagree with the Mitro rating. I thought he was really good and as I posted earlier, scored a cracker of a goal that was wrongfully disallowed.
  17. A little harsh by myself, spoken in the heat of the moment, after the game. You have to admit you do speak some serious m*****es somethimes though. We do have the right foundations to build on. And I thought Mitro was great today, got into good positions, had plenty of chances and scored an absolute blinder which was wrongly disallowed.
  18. BTW I would kill to have back Santos, the KK combo and be actually showing our faces come June next year because believe me boydes, that's when the real pain will start. At least I can barrack against those dumbass Germans fricking dirty bastards, been screwing Greece for years, dog is not a strong enough word to describe them.
  19. Three of our back four play Champions League, our keeper is the most sought after keeper in Italy. Forum changes but you still speak the same m*****es. Kone must be the most overrated, overhyped player we have seen at the Ethniki, other than scoring a useless goal in a friendly vs Bolivia he has done three fifths of fk all in his games for us, he is as useless as they get on the right as well.
