PAOK - AEK
in AEK FC
The first real test of the season, always a tricky game and we haven't won away to PAOK since our 1-0 win in 2010.
They play Qabala away in Azerbaijan on Thursday which will leave them in 5 days to rest for their game vs us, we will have 7 having just played Apollon this evening, although only some 1st team players featured such as Cordero, Mandalos, Anakoglou, Didac, Vargas, and Aravidis.
I think we will see
.................Baroja
Galo....Tzane...Kolo...Didac
...........Johan...Simoes
Platellas....Buona...Vargas
................Aravidis
I have a sneaky feeling Mantalos will be starting.

Rovas has also joined from AEK.

The players lack passion.
Pre-2004 the players we had at our disposal the majority played in Greece, for Greek teams and understood what it meant to play for the Ethniki. The players looked at these competitions as a way to get noticed and to somehow play on a bigger stage such a a european or world competition and to get noticed.
Now that some of the players play for medium to big teams across Europe they have lost that. They no longer possess the feeling of passion that their predecessors did when playing for the Ethniki. These lads are the modern Greek magka model wannabes who are afraid to get a piece of mud on their boots.
Gone are the days of Dellas, Zagorakis, Basinas, Kapsis, Karagounis, Nikopolidis. These guys had passion, balls. Now we have Tachtsidis, Christodolopoulos, and Mitroglou.
Bring in a new coach with fresh new ideas and not some pre-historic creature who cant communicate with the players. Eleos.
I posted this in the loss to the F. islands...it still applies.

I think proving yourself in practice and in a match is different I will refrain from judging him until I see him play.
Still very disappointing not to have signed a striker, why dont they go all out and try for Berba ffs, He will probably be looking for a 2 year contract, im sure even a 1+1 could be agreed on, however Berba is ghe one on control.
-
We wont sign anybody.
Looks like its Aravidis and Chrisantus thet will lead the line on our return to the top flight.....
-
Wouldnt provide anything more than what we have. Time is against us. F*** sake Djebbour why do you have to suck ball sack.

Based on there performance today vs Levadiakos they wont. Id be ashamed if I was a gavro and the only way I could beat minnows like Levadiakos with a pretty much full strength team is by 2 deflected goals.
-
Should be Buonanotte for Barbosa next...hopefully. Perfect time for him to come on.
-
Theres always a few that spoil it for everyone else.
I hear Chrisantus is going to come on for Vargas......
-
Think it should be time for Buonanotte.
