We are close to signing Diaz and also Federico Bravo from Boca Juniors. Both would raise the team up a level. Our depth in midfield would become our strength rather than our weakness with Bravo. Diaz is a natural goal scorer that can play up top and on the wing, instant upgrade over Pekhart and Almeida. Get these two, and a left back and we are golden.

Vranjes is a great signing. A current international for the Bosnian national team, he's played a lot of games this year, and at a good age. We've improved our defense tremendously. Giakoumakis is coming in the summer, average depth signing at most. He's probably replacing Aravidis.

He is an Argentinian striker, 26 years old, and plays for the same team in Malaysia that Patito played for. He has scored 50 goals in his last 68 games. Just like Patito, he went to this Malaysian team for the money, and he has lit it up. He would almost certainly be an upgrade over the kreas Almeida, the lunatic Aravidis, and the inconsistent Pekhart.

Well, we signed Panagiotis Tsinontas from Levadiakos on a free transfer for the summer. He was one of the two best Greek goalies in the league last year along with Barkas. This year, he hasn't played since he refused to sign a new contract with Levadiakos. This signing has no effect on any of the other expected transfers to be made for January; it just made sense to sign him because of his ability and because Anestis has been a dumpster fire. Unless Anestis gets another chance to play and shows significant improvement, he is gone after the season, and Tsinontas will compete with Barkas for the starting spot. And most importantly, under Majstorovic we are signing players quickly without any news coming out to the media, and none of the s%$#! Milovanovic did. Under Milovanovic, he would give interviews saying "we are very close to signing Ibisevic" (for example) and then not only would we not sign the player he mentioned, but we would not get anyone. Majstorovic is clearly much more professional in his work. It comes back to the serious no bullshit attitude of the Swedes.

Bakakis has not improved at all since B ethniki, he might even be worse after the injury he had. Mantalos and Almeida were tragic...

Barbosa did not adjust well to life in Dubai and his team is looking to get rid of him for whatever they can get. For the love of God, please correct the mistake we made this summer and bring him back. Especially if they plan on getting rid of Platellas, we could really use a quality winger.

I'm not going to get picky. I will take a win even by 1-0 as long as we play well. So far so good, we are playing well and have created some chances but we need another goal because we all know how easily we blow leads. They've agreed that the team needs a minimum of 2 players in January to try and improve the squad. No names, or positions have been mentioned, but logically a central midfielder and Striker are the first priorities. Personally, I think we need at least 4 players to try and save this season, but they're "the experts." Anyways, Morais has requested that the signings be completed ASAP so that they can play in the first game after the break on January 3rd against Panaitolikos. It's also great that Bajavic is less and less involved.

I came across an interesting stat the other day that just shows how inept our transfer policy is. The last 4 strikers we've signed, Chrisantus, Djebour, Pekhart, and Almeida, have combined for 8 super league goals all together in 2 seasons. Let that sink in....

Tigrako, thank you for dropping us to the 3rd division so you can take over without having to spend a penny. Now sell the team to someone that will invest money to take the team forward, not backwards like we've been going under your "leadership" in the last two seasons. Promises were made about a stadium, a team that's very competitive on the field, and financially stable. So far, after four years, only one of these came true, and that's because we dropped to the 3rd division to wipe our debt. All talk, no show.

Probably the best half we've played this year. Mantalos and Almeida almost linked up for a sensational goal; Aravidis hit the post, but other than those two plays Aravidis and Almeida have been pretty bad. We need a striker in January. The score should be at least 2 or 3-0 by now, hopefully we extend the lead and hold on.
