    Lua Lua has undergone surgery and Nunez will be sold to Steaua Bucharest according to Supersport.gr

    Thats stupied. Nunez us really good. He was one of our best players last year. The probleme is he would average 10 minuets per game and never got a real chance. When he played I always thought he did well. We should keep him.

    Dude do you know how much we are going to sell him for?

    In the other topics we were talking alot about respect from other nations. If we want respect, we really have to get out of this group. England are not in the euro and so i assume english media will be covering this tournament close enough because they have nothing else to cover. If greece beat england and italy, we can get ALOT of respect espcially if we have a solid euro.

    On another note--- thats a tough draw. But we have a really good u19 team. Will papathathopoulos be there?

    I bet he will come back to the club. I love the guy, but I dont think he is good enough. We should look for bigger players then giannakopoulos. As of right now I would rather sissic as a back up to galletti. But a few years a go, not a chance. I would be willing to bet that stelios will be back in the red and white because he is loved by the fans.

    With the epl now over, we know that reading derby and birmigham are getting realigated. It would be a snag if we could sign some players. Out the three teams Id say Stephen Hunt would be perfect for Olympiakos. Were gonna need a left winger to replace djordjvic who shouldnt be starting no more and hunt is a cheep alternative who I think is pretty good in big games. From Birmigham Sebastian Larsson would fit in nicely here. James Mccfaddon is another good player on Birmigham but defantly wouldnt come to olympiakos. From derby,I wouldnt take anyone. Maybe Earnshaw, but for the money you can get way more. All these players are good targets but none would leave england other than ( possibly ) Larsson. British players love to stay in the Uk.

    I like the idea of picking players from big leagues who just get relegated and are too good of players to be playing in lower divisions. My bet is that we wont sign anyone from england this offseason, but you never know. I think it would be a good move if we snapped up a player who gets relegated in spain or Italy? You guys agree?

    How are you buddy?

    I don't have anything against him as a person. Unlike many others I don't actually consider the kid to be arrogant. I'm a little disappointed in his character, i.e. his laziness. But overall he strikes me a decent kid.

    However, I don't rate him as a player and the reason I come across as so anti-Samaras is because I think there are great negatives associated with him being so overrated. For example, if people with great influence (such as the Greek media and fans collectively) rate him so much, this is bound to seep into footballing decisions. So, although Samaras isn't as good as Lybe or Salpi (in my opinion) the hype that surrounds him may earn him a place in the team instead; and the Greek team will suffer as a result.

    Secondly, I remember that a few of us had a discussion on here not long ago about the reasons Greek players are so underrated overseas. Just to remind you the discussion was filled with questions similar to:

    Anybody heard the rumour about Giannakopoulos wanting to come back??

    Herd about it, my dad told me but I dont know how resorceful that will be. Im trying to find link on something but I cant really find anything. As of now, I dont think its a strong rumor but I bet it will go down. Perfect backup for galletti. Someone who really loves the club and can teach the young players. And the fans love him. Stelios is defantly on the move, even if bolton stay up. Hes getting up there in age and hell want to finish proud. I would love him back. Anyone got links? Cause I want him badly. But only as a back up. If he starts, ill be mad because he doesnt have it in him no more. I dont want him to ruin his legandary gavros status.

    Yes but we have to remember that the defences at the Euros will be much more organized than Motherwell's. I mean just look at the goal the conceded against Samaras & you'll see why I rate the Scottish league (apart from the top 2) as the same level with Cyprus.

    Has Samaras ever scored from a corner against a good team? In fact, has Samaras ever scored any sort of goal against a good team because I can't remember one.

    Dude I agree with you that the scottish league sucks. But give the guy a break. Motherwell had a completly unorganised D but he did well to find get the ball and finish it easily.

    What to see a nice goal agastn a good team?
