  1. On a related news story:

The Olympian: Broncos' Koutouvides embraces Greek and middle linebacker position

When Niko Koutouvides was growing up, the weekly schedule was always the same.

Koutouvides and his two brothers would go to regular school five days a week. Then when his friends played on the weekend, he had Greek school on Saturday and Sunday school at the Greek Orthodox church.

  2. mmmm, also if u dont know your username, then is there anyway of getting an password reminder email???

No. You have to know your username. Otherwise, contact an administrator to try and find a solution (like looking up your username based on your email address...)
  3. I have manually authorized the validation for your email change. Check and see if you can log in with your previous user name - drakos 13.

If you can, let me know which identity you will like to keep, and I will attempt to assign your other messages to the identity you pick.

  4. Ziaka has outlined the cause of the problem. It seems that you attempted to change your email address. Since a real email address is required, a message has been sent to the email account you listed (gmail.com addresss) asking you to click on a link and validate the request.

Check your email with gmail.com . If you haven't received this message, or if you typed in the wrong email address (when you requested a change) let us know and we'll try to manually authorize your account. It should work provided you haven't changed your password also in which case we'll work something else out... You can always PM me with the email address you used - just to verify that the message is being sent to the correct recipient.

  5. Sorry, I don't count you... You're an administrator, a.k.a chopped liver !!!!

I'm glad to see that Evergreen has joined in...

Any other brave souls out there?

The nice thing about the wiki is that the contributor gets to colour events his way: call Nestoridis "the greatest ever", praise Simitis (or even the King), etc., etc.!

Of course that's until somebody else has a different opinion on the subject and edits it -- or contributes... Until it balances out and we all agree that "Nestoridis was a great player"...

Of course, let's make it clear that the Phantis Wiki is not a place of discussion and arguments. That's what the forums are about.

  6. We, here at Phantis, are launching the Phantis Wiki - our own on-line reference source - with a Greek perspective on everything from history to politics to music and especially sports! Something like an encyclopedia but with a twist!

Moreover, you, the reader, will be able to edit and add to this "encyclopedia", enriching us all, with your knowledge of your home towns, your favourite clubs, your favourite footballers and even that half-forgotten granduncle of yours that once played for Proodeftiki!

So... stop by and join in: The Phantis Wiki.

Here a little demonstration of what it's about...

    Some team info:

    Some players:

    Greek Soccer's All time scorers

    Other subjects:

    Politics:

    Greek War of Independence

So, sign up and join in in helping us create the most extensive resource of information on Greek sports and everything Greek in general.

We look forward to working on this together!...

  7. That's a different topic Hollywood.

When it comes to avatars the limit is 120x120 pixels (26k max) and for signatures the max image size is 480x100 pixels. We think these sizes are enough to allow for expression. Larger images are annoying to members -- can you imaging visiting a page with 15 posters where each one has large signatures and avatars? We'll be waiting all day for the page to load.

  8. It seems that Tripod does not allow "hijacking" of images residing on their servers - the term "hijacking" is used to describe images referenced on servers other than the host. A lot of content providers don't like it when images are referenced in that manner.
