George Franks has Greek ancestry. His Greek name is George Frakgogiannis. I believe his grandfather was born in Greece an immigrated to the US. I really like the fact that we seek athletes from other countries with Greek ancestries and welcome them to compete for Greece. What I don't like are athletes that are bought up by other countries to change their nationalities. Latest example is several high class Jamaican athletes switching to compete for Turkey.
