  1. Interesting part is that the first two play in Turkish Second division, and Faty started to play quite some minutes for Bursa at the start of the Superleague season but later or lost his place or injured himself.

  2. In the first half the match was balanced without many chances therefore 0-0 looked like a fair result. In the second half we were clearly the better side, but still without too many great chances. I agree with REY that Pavlidis in a couple of chances should have pass to Diamantopoulos who was alone in the box than trying to score with a long shot. Platellas was very active in the first 60', but at the end of the game he couldn't create dangerour situations for OFI. In this game we missed, more than any other, a Tatos kind of player. Defensively we were very solid, but in the midfield we had 3-4 times bad passing game, but fortunatelly we didn't pay it.

  3. koulouris has a way to go before he enters the conversation for the ethniki. Should be more excited about the fact that Kareli scored his first goal today for Genk since his return from injury. He has been playing regularly over the last month and now that he's scored hopefully gets on a roll. Mitro and Karelis are far better then anything else we have at centre forward. I'd be surprised if Koulouris is starting for PAOK by the end of January

  5. 0:0 it finished. Better second half performance but still quite average overall. Not our day simply, Platellas too wide and not in the mood today. Only chances were from set pieces mainly when Bargan came in. The main problem was starting players at attacking midfield (behind Diamantopoulos) where Platellas-Pavlidis-Pasas not playing too many minutes together from the start. Pasas is average and not the man who will push this team on his shoulders, especially when Pavlidis today wants to be selfish and doesn't want to put his head up and see who's around or wide, instead he only shoots. Besides having said above, and speaking of attacking still, both Dounis and Bargan were on the bench at the same time, Kassos-out, Kapnidis out (and his potential headers at the end of matches when we already decided to use lot of crosses) and all these said killed the flair that we showed up front in previous matches. Now we are at +3 over Panachaiki, and on Wednesday the league goes on. Maybe a point is OK, let us not fall asleep because we lead the league.

  6. Pity that neither of Sakis Kanoulas, Nikos Angeloudis nor Vasili Tryantafyllakos have made anything in their careers, mostly hanging around Beta or even Gamma Ethniki. I thought there was some potential in them.
