AEKARA-YIA-PANTA
He signed a 3 yr contract with AEK this morning. The ex-PAOK player is just another great signing by AEK. He play's attacking style soccer that Ferrer is looking for. Now, if we can just lock up another striker. Getting into Champions League should help us land a worthy player. aekfan_euro
Bravo Demis!!! It's good that we've signed Udeze to give us a left back. This gives Lagos more reason to play in midfield rather than defense because of Udeze's signing. Udeze is a great player and very young and talented. However, it is not in the defense and midfield where AEK need signings, it is in the forward line. Look at our signings for example, Defenders: Udeze, Pautasso Midfielders: Hetmaj, Toser, Lagos Forwards: Manduca Even though we bought Manduca, he will be good for the domestic league but he is not cut out for CL. It is a must that AEK sign a CL striker, if we make it which we should. Anyway, great signing B)
dark_horse
Udeze leaps to AEK's defence UEFA Champions League hopefuls AEK Athens FC have signed versatile Nigeria defender Ifeanyi Udeze on a 3-year-contract. He arrived in Greece as a 17-year-old, playing for FC Kavala before moving to PAOK in 2000. He has made 162 Alpha Ethniki appearances and also played 11 games in England while on loan at West Bromwich Albion FC. Registration issues Udeze, who can operate as a central or left-sided defender, will be ineligible for the second leg of AEK's UEFA Champions League third qualifying round tie against Heart of Midlothian FC. He could be registered for the group stage provided AEK triumph against the Edinburgh side. They lead 2-1 from Wednesday's opening match at Murrayfield. DUDE
This is a very good signing!!! Aek has the best defence by far... I disagree, forget individuals! AEK's defence seemed very dodgy against Hearts, even if the offensive game was outstanding!
