The2ndMouse Posted September 16, 2005 Share Posted September 16, 2005 Guys, this was a super fast team! Alexopoulos and Sorentino did a fantastic job and the whole team stood well. But Zenit did have the upper hand inthe first half. It was for our benefit that we lost with 5 goals last year. They both underestimated us and felt twice as pressured as time went by... It wont be an easy game in Athens. But the team shows good signs and very early too (for the amount of new players inserted to the starting eleven) 1 thing though... Both our Right and Left back are not good enough. I know that on of the young kids AEK bought is super, and normally when Santos Thinks he is ready he will slowly be picked more often. In the left Giojopoulos must slowly recover but he is injury prone and will definitelly not be ready for 100% for 1,2 or even 3 months after he starts... Malbasa I did not like... Beyind that Soares, is a super player and I dont care what anyone might say about his years in small clubs and his age. This man is clas for us right now....
