GS1905 Posted December 29, 2006 Share Posted December 29, 2006 Strange things keep happening at Trabzonspor as 29-year-old Polish midfielder Miroslaw Szymkowiak sent a letter to the club yesterday briefly stating that he has quit football because of some operations he had. He added that he had no problem with Trabzonspor fans or the team and that it was only his decision based on physical and psychiological grounds. But two of this players mangers not keen on to sell them.After selling Eller and Marcelinho Trabzonspor have now also has one chance to buy foreign player. The tricky midfielder has been on loan at Eskişehirspor after having a row with the coach Samet Aybaba. He also had his problems at Eskişehir after falling out with Youla and having a bust up with Poljak. He is believed to be a possible replacement for the former captain Huseyin Cimşir who has left the club when his contract expired on May 31, 2009. The in-form Black Sea club paid ?800k for left-winger Piotr Brozek and ?2.1M for striker Pawel Brozek. They both signed 3,5-year-long contracts worth ?600k per annum. Yılmaz, who was naturally a wide-right player when he came to the Black Sea Storm, has blossomed in his newly-defined second striker role under coach Şenol Guneş last year, as he scored 19 goals in 33 matches for the team's 82 point-run. The 26-year old former Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe reject, has put pen to paper a 4-year contract, worth TL 16M (around ?1.8M per season) plus bonuses.
