From the rest of the program the games Naoussa-Thermaikos and Ampelokipoi – N. Kallikrateia catch my eye. Ethnikos M. – PAO Koufalion En. Ap. Pavlou – Makedonikos Naoussa – Thermaikos Ampelokipoi – N. Kallikrateia Orfeas S. – Kampaniakos Aristotelis N. G. – Pavlos Melas Polykastro – Alexandreia 3rd group Here we have the collision of the leading teams, Ethnikos K. – F.S. Kozanis, and the winner has the chance to make a statement. Edessaikos and Aiginiakos also play difficult away games at Skydra and Aridaia respectively. This gives a chance to Pierikos and Ptolemaida (former Eordaikos) to move up in the standings since they play agaist AE Kozanis and Meliteas respectively. Aetos Skydras – Edessaikos Keravnos A. G. – Galatini Panargeiakos Orestikou – Titan Servion Ethnikos Katerinis – FS Kozanis Almopos Ar. - Aiginiakos AE Kozanis – Pierikos Meliteas - Ptolemaida Doxa Korissou – Pyrsos Grevenon 4th group Iraklis Chalkis is playing against Olympiakos Volou and should not have problems winning (there is a sentence I never thought I’ll write! :( ). Iraklis will try to take advantage of the fact that the teams that follow him play each other (Achilleas Farsalon - Apollon Larisas, A.O Trikalon – Kentavros Volou, Rigas Ferraios – An. Karditsas). Vaggar
6th group The leaders are put in test, since all give difficult games. Iraklis Psachnon collides with Lamia, while Lilas plays a local derby at Prokopi, and Artaki is tested at Livanates. Doxa Prok. – Lilas Vas. Iraklis Ps. – Lamia Aspropyrgos – Ag. Thomas Epameinondas – Asteras It. Thiva – Mandraikos Fokikos – Kitheronas Stilida – Aias Salam. Dafni Leiv. – Nea Artaki 7th group The leader of the 7th group, Diagoras Rodou, has the day off. This gives the opportunity to Mani Nikaias to overtake the 1st place if they win Apollon Kal. at home. Ermis Koridallou and Keratsini play at Koskino and Naxo respectively, while Ethnikos Peiraios and Aiolikos face each other looking to bounce back from their disappointing performances of last week. Panaxiakos – Ermis Kor. Digenis Kosk. – Keratsini Kos – An. Samou Ethnikos – Aiolikos Mykonos – Pyrgi Chiou Atromitos A. M. – Pontioi Dr. Mani N. – Apollon Kal. 8th group Panargeiakos gives a local derby against Kranidi, while Athinaikos plays against Athinaida. Chaidari will look to take advantage of any slip that they may have, but first it has to overcome the obstacle of Astera Tripolis. Panargeiakos – Kranidi Asteras Tr. – Chaidari Terpsithea – Aris Petr. Glika Nera – Korinthos Nea Ionia – Rouf Pelopas K. – AE Irakliou Athinaida – Athinaikos Peristeri/Filisi – Sparti 0-2 a.a. 9th group If someone looks just on the number, then Achaiki should not have a problem against Panaigialeios. But since it is a local derby, you never know what will happen. The three teams from Messinia are hopping that Achaiki will strangle, so they can close the gap. Pamisos and Messiniakos should not have aproblem against the teams from Zakyntho (Ari A.D. and APS Zakinthou), while Petalidi entertains Varda. Aris Patras – Fostira Ovrias Atromitos Ant. – AOKI Achaiki – Panaigialeios Messiniakos – Zakynthos Ap. Petal. – Varda Aris A. D. – Pamissos Leivatho – Asteras Am. Erani F. – Nafpaktiakos 10th group Finally, from the leaders of the 10th group only Irodotos plays at home against Episkopi. Ionia and Platanias play against AOAN and Chersonissos, two very interesting games. Aris Soudas – Minoiki AOAN – Ionia Chersonissos – Platanias Irodotos – Episkopi Ierapetra – Aris Rethymnou N. Astir Rethymnou – Koutsouras Thiseas – Almyros PANOM – Korfos Elountas
The2ndMouse
Atromitos A. M. – Pontioi Drapetsonas. 3-2 Not the best game, but good enough, and with 5 goals, out of which 4 were very nice Drapetsona went 0-1 up with a long shot In the exact next Atromitos Attack, the Mytilini club won a foul outside the box and made it 1-1 with a Direct Free Kick. A header by the Atromitos Captain made it 2-1 In the second half the lack of defensive seriousness allowed Drapetsona Back in making it 2-2. However, Atromitos had the upper hand all game despite the ref giving them a slight boost in 3-4 occasions and managed to score the winner and makeit 3-2 2 red cards and a lot of arguments at the end but the ref could also give a penalty to Drapetsona for handball in the area... Anyway, Atromitos looked better and really deserved their first 3 pointer... I think that the other team of the Island lost 2-1 away to Ethnikos! Which is really bad news for them because Ethnikos did not impress me at all when I saw them against Atromitos a month back! Aiolikos has a lot of injuries but these results look like they are costing them a lot in their effort to win promotion!
