More Violence - Greeks vs Skops?

I was at the game, and you are correct in that the boxheads raised the red and yellow flag again.

When otto rehaggel was paraded to the crowd, a bunch of the bankstown supporters turned their backs to otto and our chants.

during the game, there was no real incidents, other than the usual chanting of both sides.

tempers flared when bankstown scored first,as some of their supporters who were sitting in the grandstand got up and were carrying on.

the real trouble began after olympic scored twice, and we were leading 2-1 with a few minutes to go.

their supporters brought out the red and yellow flag resembling the greek flag, and some vandalised a double decker bus advertising mythos taverna.

after the final whistle, some of their supporters attempted to ignite trouble by running around to where we were sitting and began throwing bottles and rocks towards us.

some of the olympic supporters threw bottles and other things back at them, but there were no real fights, as the olympic officials locked the gates between the supporters.

we have been told that the main instigators were a few busloads of skopjians who came up from melbourne.

WOW! What a way to ruin what sounded like a good game and what an impression to make to Otto.

It's crap like this that make alot of people "sterio-type" of what Greeks and soccer is all about.
