Irlandos Posted April 24, 2005 Share Posted April 24, 2005 In the next-to-last game of the season, Glentoran defeated Linfield 3-2, after an exciting game, thanks to an injury-time goal by ex-Linfield forward Chris Morgan. Glentoran now need to win their last game of the league against Crusaders who desperately need the points to avoid possible relegation. Linfield's last match is at home to bitter sectarian rivals Cliftonville. Unfortunately, yesterday's match was marred by Linfield supporters entering the pitch after the game and battling Glentoran supporters with glass bottles, bricks and anything else that could be thrown. :tdown: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
