JOHNNY Posted January 26, 2005 Share Posted January 26, 2005 Celtic have emerged as favourites to sign Liverpool's Swiss international defender Stefane Henchoz. He has been recently linked to Southampton and Bolton, and rejected a 6 month deal at Rangers. Hearts midfielder Paul Hartley is another target for Martin O'neill. The 28 year old had been tipped for a big things since boyhood (I remember him as a kid of 8 years old, answering to the name 'Pele'), but after turning out for Hamilton, St Johnstone, Raith Rovers, Millwall and Hibernian, he has only started to show his potential at Hearts. The big question being asked is if Hartley will risk being a squad player at Parkhead, or prefer to play a main role for Hearts.
