For those who saw and remember the game the question is not hypothetical. Ivits played extremely well and singlehandedly created one of the goals. As to how many goals he scored, I care not and know not. Because, 1. A player's worth is not found in any single number (unless you consult with Castillo who refuses to pass the ball for as long as there is a prayer of a hope that he might score himself). 2. Your question does not matter in this specific topic. The question is not how good Ivits was/is but rather how willing he is to play as a team player (assuming the coach did indeed say what was reported and meant it). And 3. Your question does not matter in general. Any team uses the best players it has/can buy. The point is never how good A, B, or C is but if for the money you pay you can find a better one, better in the sense that he will help you get better results.
