I'm a guy from germany and would like to know if somebody here is able to confirm the following Alpha Ethniki-schedule I found in the web: 21/03/04 Griechenland, National Division, 25. Spieltag Halkidona - AO Aigaleo -:- AO Xanthi - OFI Kreta -:- Panionios Athen - Aris Saloniki -:- Paniliakos Pyrgos - Kallithea -:- Panathinaikos Athen - Olympiakos Piräus -:- Proodeftiki FC - AEK Athen -:- Iraklis Saloniki - PAOK Saloniki -:- Akratitos Liosion - Ionikos Nikea -:- The problem is that nearly every source I contacted (different news papers, the professional league, both clubs) says something different from the other. My main interest is the big derby between Panathinaikos and Olympiakos (I plan to go there), but noone could say something really concrete about the weekend that game will be played. Vaggar Posted February 19, 2004 Share Posted February 19, 2004 Hi Ober-L, the complication is probably due to the general elections for a new government in Greece taking place in two weeks. EPAE (the association responsible for the league) has the schedule in their website saying that Round-26 is scheduled to be played in 18th of April. To answer your question, the two rounds of the Greek championship you mention are scheduled to take place as follows: Round 25: 04-April-2004 Round 26: 18-April-2004 On 21-March-04, the Round 24 of the championship is going to take place. On 28-March-2004, the league takes a break.
