Omonoia9
After a thrilling comeback 2-1 win at Montpellier, now these two teams will square off in Piraeus. Olympiakos will be looking to even their Champions League record this year, and keep alive their chances at advancing beyond the group stage. Should be a good one from Piraeus today! Omonoia9
This is all happening so fast. Machado scores before I can even set up a feed, or enter the Montpellier lineup. Roy Carroll continues to be the #1 GK for Olympiakos, even in the CL, after a good performance in France a couple weeks ago. Montpellier bench Laurent Pionnier, so Geoffrey Jourdren gets the start in goal for them. Kostas Mitroglou, the hero of that game in France is starting at striker, ahead of the injured Rafik Djebbour. Giannis Fetfatzidis is dressed but is not starting. For Olympiakos, Carroll is in goal, Holebas, Siovas, Manolas, and the Captain Torosidis are the 4 defenders. Giannis Maniatis is a defender by trade, but can play as a midfielder, and is today. The 5 midfielders are Maniatis, Modesto, Abdoun, Machado, and Greco. Mitroglou is the lone striker.
