We are playing our Europa league game on the 28th which is next week and new seats are to be placed on the main stand and behind the goal (gate 13) also the VIP suits are expected to be fitted. The next week is going to be a mad rush working on the re-developments. Regarding the new tiers on both sides, if im not wrong we have yet to receive the license for this so there will probably be delays. Hopefully everything goes to plan.

The work is planned to start straight after the play offs, let's just hope this happens and there is no more delays. I don't think it is Alafouzos to blame, he has tried and done good for the money we have. The problem is we need a rich owner (like Pateras) who can spend money and bring class players.

I really liked Samaris at Oly, however for Greece he has been really bad since the World cup. Ninis is a great player, every game he has played this season he has done great. His recent injury pulled him back a bit. To be honest I wouldn't put him in the Cm position for a important game.

I understand Manolas and kpaps are overall better players. The reason I chose Siovas is because he has done great for Olympiacos in the CL, was outstanding against arsenal. Also before the World cup Sokratis and siovas were great together and so reliable.

Against Hungary we saw how good Mantalos, Fortounis and Pelkas played together. Ninis could play in Samaris's position and create with his great passing. All I know this line up would create a lot of chances. Probably to attacking but we should try this out against Luxembourg.

Everything has been agreed with Skibbe and Tsanas will be one of his assistants, he is expected to sign this week. Regarding the appointment of Skibbe, of course I would have preferred a manger with a better CV, however that does guarantee a manager with a better CV would do a better job. Its not always about having a great cv. Look at Huub Stevens at Paok

I really hope Skibbe works out well for us. His cv isn't the worst, he has worked at Dortmund, Leverkusen and Frankfurt in the past. As for his time in Turkey we all know how Greek and Turkish boards are, very inpatient and sack managers every year. He spent four years as Germany's assistant manager which included the 2002 world cup. Lets hope he can bring the organisation and discipline back to our Ethniki. Greece doesn't need the greatest's of managers, we just need someone decent who will bring discipline.

I personally think Ninis should start, no other player can create like him. Greece lacks that creativity, especially from the last games.

If we want goals we need to start Ninis and Karelis together as they proved in the superleague play offs that they mean business. Fortounis also has great ball control and passing ability and does score recently, I think Kone does not do much for our attack, he cant really create and is not really good with the ball. I think Kone scores great goals sometimes but does not offer much regularly. As for Lazaros he just does not have that end product, he would do a great skill and then muck it up. I agree with what you are saying, a 21k stadium is not really what we should be aiming for as we are a big club. However I do not see anything else realistically happening, even before the economic crisis it was all talk with Votanikos. If we do not upgrade Leoforos we will be in the year 2020 and still talking about a new stadium and probably playing in OAKA again.

Does any one know when the works will begin? This is getting very frustrating as a pao fan. Since 2005 I have been reading news about about our stadium and Votanikos. Leoforos was planned to have been a 21,000 stadium now.

I think Ninis and Fortounis deserve to be in our starting line ups. They are our best technical players who can pass the ball and create. Fortounis has had a great season and Ninis is looking like he has found his form and from recent matches looks better than ever. Our attack recently looks lost with no creativity, hopefully they can make a difference.

Koutroubis has been playing really good as a defensive mid, even done a nutmeg. Never thought he would be this good in midfield.

Great game so far, I am so impressed with Ninis, he just has that class that many Greek players do not have, always been a fan of him. Overall our team looks great, if we keep this up we can do big things in Greece and Europe. We just need a few good signings in defence.
