A young second striker/winger. Another good one is Bakasetas, he scored a screamer from a free kick for AEK.

We need to uphold the Greek Adonis look in the squad so Samaras needs to come back in, and Tziol goes needs to get out as he holds this role especially now that Samaris has a fingernail injury.
Taxi needs to come back in too.

Vellios scored a screamer and would of scored three more for the ethniki but for the goal posts moving left/right. I don't know how people miss this!

In general opinion out there, for someone that is considered as a DM, should he be big-boddied to be fairly dominant, would Siopis be more effective than say Tachtsidis or Samaris? Not sure myself though, the taller guys excel at DM.
Expect to see Tzioi there for 10 more years then.

If anyone should get a run it should be Kourbelis. Tziolis is old news. The Skibbe should take a punt on a new young LW off the bench too.

4 5 1 is a defensive formation as it is Rocka. I would like to see 3 5 2 though. Karelis must come on in the 2nd half this time or Skibbe is a knob. That's who should of replaced Fortounis when he got injured.
The Skibbe favours Tzavellas at lb, I think Cholevas may of played his last game, hope not.

How is it that Australia can bring in young wingers (Goodwin, Oikonomidis) and they do a job at least, but Greece find this too risky to do the same? We shouldn't have to play Mantalos or Karelis there. Pick someone and if it's not good, pick someone else. It's sport! The coach should get his finger out of his ear, and take action.
Start Gianniotas for 3 games in a row. If Lazo/Kone are available, get one of them in for the left side. Put Cholevas/Holebas/Xolebas in at LB.
KPaps is now a starter again, someone will have to sit on the bench, either Sok or Mano. Just look at last the game. The coach needs to make a hard decision sometime, and put Samaris under the microscope, Taxi might overtake him soon.

In a month's time then, Taxi, Kitsiou and Lazaros come in and Tzioli, Tzavella and Vellios go out. Is that a fair assessment? Samaris has to mature in his deep lying position as well.

Ye near the end Kara played in a deeplying position, looked like a dm with accurate passing which were dominant plays, dictating play for Greece, he was that dominant, we fell in a heap and didn't recover for two years.
That's more what I mean.

Should be able to smack 4 past the Gibberers, as long as they don't drop their bundle. If Toro sits out, KyriPap plays well again, after that who misses out, Manolas? I question Manola's fitness/pace actually, having seen some of the Roma matches.

That role I thought was with Pirlo-Tziolis, as far as great looking specimen of Greek manhood, can't be for his superior vision and organisational passing and great play through the middle skillset even.
I will admit in my Wa Wa Nee, Mark Wahlberg, New Kids on The Block and Milli Vanilli days, I used to over-work my mirror with brushes, dryers and hair streaks too. Similar to Samaris and Mitro-Mykonos. Marrickville Mauler, need your opinion on this too.

What is needed is a dominant DM, Karagounis style. Here's hoping either of Samaris, Petsos, Kourbelis or say, Siopis come through to something like what Kara offered.

The Skibbe won't play Mantalos centrally as the no. 8, he will either have Maniatis with Petsos and Tziolara coming on later or Maniatis and Tziolara with Petsos coming on later.
Is Panagioti Kone about ready to grace us with his presence, as a box to box?
