If Lamia President Mr.Papaioannou had anything to do with marinaki in any level,Lamia would be in the SL by now! Lamia was royally screwed by the system this year! It is all documented how Lamia was excluded from the playoffs! Papaioannou is a gayro fan but has nothing to do with marinakis and his antics! He has been to karaiskaki a few times and nobody can prevent him or anyone to do so! He is the cleanest President in the FL and his only intention is to see Lamia climb in the SL for the 1st time in its history! He does not need any favours or any money for that matter! He has plenty of his own! Papaioannou invested more that 2 million from his own money this last years buying top players to advance the team to the SL. No other team in the FL has done that ,and that includes AEK! Lamia deserves to be in the SL based on the size of the city,its fan base and the way it conducts its business! I hope more teams followed Lamia's example and make our Greek soccer world much cleaner!

I am a firm believer that they should be 18 teams in the SL. Major factor should be the size(population/market) of the city that would participate in it! Major cities like: Patra, Larissa, Volos, Lamia, Kalamata, Serres, Kavala should be in the SL! These cities have the market base and the population to sustain a SL team! Having teams from major cities around Greece should be PRIORITY #1! Teams that attract 300-500 fans or even 1,000 should not be allowed in the SL! There has to be a series of factors that would qualify a team to participate in the SL.
