Those are the ones who try to show off! I call them ΤΖΑΠΑ ΜΑΓΓΕΣ! After all that is our national sport! The sad truth is ,I experienced it first hand and could not believe it, there are people who search in trash cans to find food! People are leaving Greece on a daily basis looking for a better life and opportunity! If by any remote chance they made a collection for Panathinaikos ,I strongly doubt that they will find 5,000(and that is very generous) people to contribute! The days of the strong commitment toward a team are far gone! You will not convince anyone ,never mind 300,000, to contribute anything towards a bottomless pit! This is why I insist on the notion, that someone with deep pockets has to come up front and centre! And that is the Giannakopoulos family!

Don't expect 300,000 fans to come up with $50 each! This is a joke! No Greek citizen even if they are fanatics, will come up with that! The Greek financial crisis has left them ΤΑΠΗ ΚΑΙ ΨΗΧΡΑΙΜΟΙ! I have experienced it first hand in my last 5 visits to the home land! There is misery all over,and the people will try to put food on their table before they think about saving Panathinaikos! Panathinaikos traditionally was managed by wealthy families. Every attempt by Συμαχειες and the rest will fail miserably! There are only two families that could raise that cross and carry it! Their names are Vardinogiannis and Giannakopoulos! The first has bailed out due to the known reasons! The second needs a push to take over! The focus should be on the Giannakopoulos family and nobody else!

Pao has a massive debt and the above will not settl things or attract a new owner. The team owes money to the entire world. Who is going to touch this? Investors are only interested to make mone and not lose it. If that was the case people like the Giannakopoulos family would step in. They realized that the team is in a huge debt and backed off. Bankrutpcy and relegation is the only solution. Who has the guts to do it though?

All the fostires of gate 13 finally came to their senses! They destroyed the team by kicking out the wealthiest family in Greece and now they begging them to contribute for the team's survival. I asked my wife what would be the result to the game. She said "I see rocks"... I went and placed $2 on the 0-0 tie and made 47.50. She predicted the 4-1 result also resulting in $57 in my pocket. She is on a streak.

Very happy that this game was a tie!

A great game will be played tomorrow in front of a sold out crowd, including fans from both sides. Pas Lamia printed an additional 500 tickets to acomomodate the fans needs since the game was sold out yesterday. Lamia is proving to be a worthy opponent in the SL and I hope the 6000 people who will be at the stadium will have blast as I did a couple of weeks ago against Panionios. May the best team win. I am in an awkward position since my two favorite teams are facing each other for the 1st time in the history of Greek football for the Greek Championship.

The games will be decided in one goal! I see us going through with an away goal and a draw in Greece.

Isn't there a Greek player available to be included in the starting line up? What kind of Greek team(especially PAOK with glory days and players like Koudas,Sarafis, Terzanidis…) has no Greek players to offer in this SL? I am very disappointed having watched PAOK in the last 40 years producing big players and having no Greek players in the starting line up against Lamia! Terrible!

You are in for a big surprise! Keep underestimating Pas Lamia and Mr. Tenes and you will leave Toumba very disappointed! Lamia lost two games with AEK and OSFP with two penalties that were not! They have earned 7 points and they could easily have a couple more!

Karagounis is owed 550,000 euro…that is the answer! About alafouzo…we have discussed it numerous times! He should have never gotten involved to start with. He has ruined this team and the result is inevitable! Relegation and sell off! Που σε καταντισανε ρε Παναθηναικε?

Have you seen anyone of those "Φωστηρες" hanging around or emerging to see and comment on what has taken place so far? Don't expect them to appear ever! My tongue has grown hair talking about it! You never ever push to the brink the wealthiest family in Greece just because! The team is in the verge of bankruptcy and you have only a few "σαινια" to blame for! The team future is hanging by a thread!

I watched the game on Sunday and I thought this team is a mid table team that will struggle all season! The parting of Berg, Zeka and Mbokou has cost dearly. The players who came to replace them are nowhere near that level. We are in dire straights with the situation at the helm. Looks like the team is headed for a disaster unless big pockets intervene. I hate to see us end up like aek! It would be shameful to the History of Panathinaikos! The way thing going I see us not even making the top 6!
