If I were a Graphic Designer, I would be ashamed to present to anyone this logo, provisional or not. It reminds me of the early days of ERT when they used leafs to display clouds during the weather report. :)

You better get used to it Georgiet as it will be the rule as opposed to exception to the rule. It's really sad that those guys haven't got it together by now. If you call tech support I bet they will tell you "weird you are the only one with the problem, all our clients never reported such an issue". If you have alternative options take them, don't let yourself get frustrated with those guys.

And by the way if you upgrade to the Hopper as I did all the Greek channels are in a group under channel number 605. So Ant1 = 605-01, ERTWorld = 605-02.....MEGA COSMOS=605-11. Luckily you don't have to punch the "-" when entering the channel number. 605 actually will get you to Ant1 as being the first channel in the group and 60511 will get you to MEGA COSMOS. Does anyone know why the Greek Cinema's guide does not display information but only either "Movie" or "Afieroma"?

Having to pay 60 bucks for annoying messages appearing every other day on my screen or to find the picture frozen while I have scheduled my DVD recorder to record a show so I can watch it at my convenience won't cut it for me. The service should not be called EllasTV but rather Beta Ellas TV as they are constantly repairing issues or test. The You Tube feature is a joke. Get a long HDMI cable and go straight from your computer to the TV you will get 1000 times better picture and sound believe me. And by the way, ANT1 Satellite, ERT World, FSC and beinSPORT (all offered by DISH) are all the channels you need for your sport's addiction. With DRV as well.

You know... just because it says on the screen "HD" it doesn't mean it's HD. It might be and surely is in Greece through NOVA but not what you see with the EllasTV box here in the states. Are you also sure that you see something on the screen when you watch OTE Sports channels? :) :) :)

I would really be interested to hear your experience with it. Which package are you getting?

It's very interesting however that in the channel listings, ANT1 ANT1 Europe as well as ANT1 Delayed are not listed in the web site where I know for a fact that they are all currently offered with the ET-503 box.

It's nice to see MEGA COSMOS finally back on Satellites in North America. Too good of a channel to be offered only through IPTV services that are not reliable yet as far as picture and sound quality. Lyng Sat has been also updated.

We have come full circle guys. I am glad the waiting is over and happy for both MEGA COSMOS and Greek Cinema as well as for the price for the whole package. Nice to see the TV Guide for MEGA COSMOS as well. Home2US and EllasTV never even bothered with that. Time to get rid of all those receivers I accumulated and paid for in the last year and a half.

What they should do is to shift the radio channels one up giving MEGA the 9833 slot. That way I can have my two favorite channels next to each other. :)

December 5th is the launch date I believe. That is Wednesday week.

I couldn't agree with you more DKSat, but what I think happend or didn't in this case was the fact that EllasTV being the only MEGA COSMOS provider did not produce the expected results as far as attracting subscribers, much the same as it did work out when the channel moved to DirecTV and later on Home2US.I live in an area with 80 Greek families. Most of those families have been suscribed to DISH NETWORK and never swiched or added DIRECTV, except of course for myself. People can live without MEGA COSMOS, I was without it for the last couple of months and eventually realized that I wasn't missing it.

Well, maybe they will add MEGA COSMOS to the elite pack and keep the price at $29.99. Wouldn't that be ideal? Paying only $5.00 for Greek Cinema (the best channel of them all as far as I am concerned) and MEGA COSMOS.

I don't have the box, and I don't think I will be getting it anyway since MEGA COSMOS is returning to DISH NETWORK. To answer your question though the time that I did have the box, they had MEGA COSMOS and ERT WORLD but not ANTENNA Satellite or ALPHA SAT.

I don't want to return the Box. I want to be a customer. I just want to know if I have to pay the $50.00 deposit for each Box I order including the first. I just want to know!!!

Let me understand this so it's all clear.So far I have paid a $50.00 deposit for the receiver (which by the way seems to be defective) and $9.99 for the lease. If I wanted another receiver, I would have to pay another $50.00 deposit and another $9.99 for the lease. If I wanted a third one I'd have to do the same. Where is the free receiver I wonder?

Fox Soccer Channel has Champion League, English Premier League and Italian Serie A. Gol TV has German Bundesliga and Spanish La Liga. All of the above in HD. Ant1 Satellite and ERT World have the Greek League. What else do you need? As far as live TV, MEGA Cosmos, ERT World and ANT1 have the news and morning shows live. I recorded yesterday from NET the Olympic opening ceremonies to watch it later in my own time and keep it with my Olympic collection. Guess what I found when I got home. A frozen picture recorded for 4 hours!!! Lastly if all the progress that has been made in the last two years is what I have been experiencing the last month, then I am afraid I should probably wait another 10 years before I consider this particular service. I am still wating for someone to tell which from the list are the 5 ΜΕΓΑΛΑ καναλια in the $29.99 package!

Look at their website. There have been some interesting updates to it. Now they offer a free receiver but they charge $29.99 a month for the MEGA package previously priced at $19.99. They claim that they have 5 Μεγαλα Ελληνικα καναλια. Here is the list. By the way HellasHab I never left Home2US. In fact I have been really happy with their receiver, so far no problem as far as picture and sound quality. In fact the Home2US MEGA Cosmos signal has been better than from what it was in Directv and Dish Network.

If somebody had mentioned that when I signed up or if it was on your website maybe I wouldn't have even bothered to order the box. The setting is at 1080i with no success. I tried all the different settings.The fact that you don't see a lypsync problem doesn't change the fact that I do. I wish it never does. I was watching the U19 final Spain - Greece the other day from ET1. It was like watching something in movie mode not video mode. Even the channels where the picture is ok, MEGA, MEGA DELAYED etc when there is scrolling involved it's not smooth and credits for example at the end of the show are not easy to read.Do you want me to go on: Here is one. Why do I need to adjust the volume every time I change a channel? Shouldn't that be a function of the receiver keeping the same volume level on all the channels? And where are you getting the MEGA COSMOS Australia feed from that I am able to see here in America, not from Home2US of course, which means that you probably send it to Greece from Australia the same way you send the MEGA COSMOS N. America to Greece and back here. And how do you get the signal? Home2US is trasmitting a special one just for ELLASTV in N. America?
