  1. It was a report on 1 greek newspaper that free agent Stelios Giannakopoulos is trying to return to Olympiakos but no other info was released or found about it.

    Hell No....

    Cmon guys... do we need this guy? Our team is looking too good to have this guy on our roster... I'd rather have R Bravo.

    Honestly I would love to see Stelios go onto a club like PAOK, or Panionios etc...

    The Greek league needs to become stronger through-out all the teams and if he were to do a move like that it would be only positive.

  2. This is from the the Newspaper KATHIMERINI

    *****************************************************************************

    Castillo’s loan deal with Olympiakos falls through

    Despite the desire of Olympiakos and Neri Castillo for the Mexican player’s return to Piraeus for a year on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk, the Ukrainian club’s demands have put the deal beyond the Greek champion.

    Donetsk suddenly upped its demands from 2 million to 3 million euros, causing negotiations to break down last night at the very last minute of the transfer window.

    The player who grew up at Olympiakos, being a Reds player since the age of 16, belongs to Shakhtar but has failed to settle at the club that bought him in summer 2007. After several fruitless months in the Ukraine, he moved on loan to Manchester City and was now trying to return to Olympiakos, even being prepared to pay for part of the deal out of his own pocket.

    Olympiakos will also have to keep Spanish defender Raul Bravo who failed to get a transfer to Deportivo La Coruna and must remain at Olympiakos, though he does not figure anywhere in manager Ernesto Valverde’s plans.

    At least the good news for Olympiakos is that its skipper, Predrag Djordjevic will not have to undergo an operation for the injury he picked up during the Red’s 3-1 win over Asteras Tripolis on Saturday. But he will miss the action for the next two weeks.

    The Super League will now be taking a one-week break as the national team will be playing two games in the next 10 days.

  3. I LOVE IT I LOVE IT and have I mentioned that I LOVE IT

    All these guys coming to our team is only going to be better for us.

    Now it's up to our coach on getting all these guys to play together..

    :tup: :tup: :tup: :tup: :tup: :tup: :tup: :tup: :tup: :tup:

  4. Fellas these are GREAT players that might be joining our team... I can honestly say that I hope we get these guys and everything will work out just fine...

    So far I'm happy w/ what's going and we'll know more by Tuesday .... :tup:

  5. :tup: :tup: :tup:

    This would be a great signing...

    I watch alot of Italian soccer and this guy can definitely help our midfield...

    BRING DiVaio KOKKALI!!!!!!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  6. its alot to risk on a player that has played his whole career in b division brazil. and he is nearly 22. if he was that great and worth so much, how come no one went after him. besides the supposed Arsenal bid.
    i would neverwant to spend that much on one player. what if you sign him and after the 4th game he breaks his leg. its a big risk. id rather get young layers, around 4 or 5 million and get 3 of them rather than one 11 million dollar player especially if with 11 mil, u only get 70% of his rights.
    I agree... It's a bit of risk, but maybe they know something we don't know. :o :blink:
  7. What do you guys think about this guy Diogo (if I'm spelling it correct)
    I believe that the $$$ that's going to bring this guy in is a bit too much. Don't get me wrong he's a great player and young, but I don't know if he's proven himself yet. MAYBE he'll have a good carrer like a Castillo or Tourre and I'm proven wrong..
    Any thoughts?
  8. THANK GOODNESS this guy is not our squad... As I've said a million times before some of the "National Team Has-beens" have to go to other team in the Superleague in order to make the league that much more interesting (ex PAOK, XANTHI PANIONIOS etc)
    Now that hee's w/ AEK good luck AEK fans not only do you guys have RIVO but also Basinas.... hahahahaha I can only see this midfield line getting sloooooower and sloooower :LOL: :LOL:
  9. If there's one thing that we all have to do at the moment is be patient.
    Just because PAO got a "defender" doesn't mean that we have to go 100mph and grab the 1st avail.
    I can honestly say that I have confidence in our management and will do the right thing...
    :tup:
  10. He probably wont come, but can you imagine Crespo in the center with Lua Lua and Galletti on each side? That's one hell of a front 3!
    Wait!
    Is LUALUA gone or is he still on the squad?
    I'm confused about the whole situation.. Does anyone know?
    THX
  11. Reyes????
    MMMMM don't think so fellas... Don't get me wrong, great player but not in this decade (because of his age)
    BUT! If Kokalis gets a wild hair up his 'kolo' and for some reason brings this guy it would be a good signing for our team..
    I would say he's go a 25% chance of coming, and that's being really generous
  12. I some how see or big transfer of this year will be a forward. He will be from Spain. I get the feeling it could be Morientes.
    With LuaLua out the door, I must agree w/ you... The only problem that I see w/ him is that he's a bit heavy at the moment.. Don't get me wrong great forward but doesn't have that flair, speed, and strenth that LuaLua brought
    What do you all think?
  13. Just heard from NOVA Sport FM
    Olympiacos is working on getting these 3 players
    Doucer from Racing Stantader
    Oscar Gonzalez from Zaragoza
    Duda from Seville
    Fellas,
    NOVASport-FM just confirmed that we signed Oscar Gonzalez from R. Zaragoza..
    Don't really know what to think about this transfer, I just hope he does well.
  14. Honestly don't know 2 much about these guys and I still think that these are "teasers" till we get that "big name" player..
    We'll see. I'm not believing anything till they actually fly into Athens and sign
  15. That's a damn shme if we sell Nunez... Not only was he solid for the 10-20 min that he played but he scored some great goals which is a sign of a talented striker..
    I hope that this is just a rumor. unless they pay their butts off and we make a killing on him
  16. Well that is a good move from Oly but now the question is how long will he stay there? Not how long is the contract but how long is Kokalis going to keep him there!
    You and I know that if this dude doesn't get outside of the group phase of the CL he's gone just like th rest of others..
    I personally don't know what the hell all the "hoopla" is for this guy...
    :tdown:
  17. I tell you what everyone this weekends game w/ Levadiakos is going to be a tough one,... Leva plays tough at home and this year their record is 6wins, 2draws and 4 losses. We all know how Olympiacos record is playing away so lets see what this "new coach" is going to do to change that..... :unsure: :unsure: :unsure:
