After nearly 40 years, I’m just about done with Greek football. The depths of corruption are just disgusting.

No team in Greece would reject 10 mil. The key though, is to spend it wisely, like for example, Liverpool did with the Coutinho money, as opposed to Liverpool with the Suarez money.

Another example of how the Gavroi have turned the League into theirr own personal circus. Pay the refs when they want to, play when they want to, walk off when they want to, refuse to play even though the match doctor (who was originally denied entry into their rooms) passed the coach fit. Then people wonder why no big names want to come to Greece anymore. This League is corrupt to the core and beyond embarrassing.

Only in Greece can a koloharto decide a championship.

End of the day we don't really deserve to be in CL on our form since the Cup Final, but we do deserve it for finishing 2nd after the normal season. Todays performance sums up our club perfectly. How many times over the years have we blown opportunities by losing the plot in crucial games or crucial stages in games. In saying this though, we can all agree that the 'playoffs' are an EPO money grabbing joke.

Greek football is so deeply sick, that all too often, matches disintegrate into this kind of chaos. Playing the blame game will solve nothing. We can sit and argue, but Europe and the rest of the world will just keep on laughing at our xeftila. Unless, there is a total overhaul of EPO and the game in general in Greece, we are all wasting our time.

No 'big' player would ever come to Greece. They only ones we'll get are either washed up has beens who are at the tail end of their careers and want a quick cash grab (eg. Berbatov), or players who haven't lived up to their promise at bigger Clubs and want to relaunch their careers in Greece in the hope of getting a move to bigger Clubs eventually (rg. Vieirinha).

I agree with you... Unfortunately, this is Greek football we're talking about, so the words 'smart' and 'organized' don't exist.
