Great finish on the weekend. The guy is a goal poacher.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Avraam is NOT good enough to be playing as a first team player.
I hope I am proven wrong, but I think the manga (he is no longer a kid as he will be 24 in 3 months) would struggle this season.
-
(81% foreigners in team)
That can't be good. If it was 50% you would still think it was too much.

I agree with you.
Lua Lua expressed that he realised his mistakes and literally begged for one more chance. Although he was late to training, he always gave his all on the pitch, so he obviously didn't have motivational problems. As for Segura, we have no idea why they fell out, so we can't judge the player on that. And paying an extra 1.8m to keep one of your best players is nothing! Also, it's unlikely that we would have lost Lua Lua for nothing... he was desperate to stay and throughout his career he's shown alot of loyalty to his clubs, so there's no reason that he wouldn't have extended his contract.well aparently he always turned up to training late. he had a fight with segura before the cup, sometimes during the game he was very selfish and didnt pass.
afte this year he would of received a large sum of money and then would of been on his final year and we may have lost him for nothing..
but the reality is i think we have already secured a player that is better that him..
and that is either chevanton or edu ..
so with the 4 million we were offering plus 3.2 we got for lua lua this will be used to purchase one of these players !!!
And finally, neither Chevanton nor Edu are better than him.
Especially about Chevanton. The guy is not even close to being as good as Lua Lua.

Zigic is the tallest man in the world.Could u imagine if we sign that guy Diogo? Also why dont we go after Zigic too.

Well Nunez left for the pre-season camp with the squad and he looked in good spirits. It doesn't look like he's going anywhere which is a good thing!
The article didn't say what the price would be. I agree with you, he's one of our more talented players and with Djole aging it makes no sense to get rid of a left-sided player.Thats stupied. Nunez us really good. He was one of our best players last year. The probleme is he would average 10 minuets per game and never got a real chance. When he played I always thought he did well. We should keep him.
Dude do you know how much we are going to sell him for?
-
He didn't notice because he wasn't involved!hey m#$%!, did you notice how your team won the euro?????

very powerful header...

What an explosive header.
Lets hope he gets that service at Euro.

With DUDE or with Georgios tou Ioanni Samaras? There is a problem with DUDE: He's slow, weak in the head and incredibly inaccurate.
-
Agreed!I have a smile to my face that Turkey is 8 positions behind Greece.
Also Croatia after their humiliating 0-3 at home to the Dutch have dropped below us!
I know everyone in the universe rates Croatia, but I somehow secretly want them to fail miserably.

He pushed his hair back his left ear with his left hand - twice.did he do anything? any shots? create havoc?
In the 81st min he winked at a ginger-haired woman in the stands as well.
-
What a nice young man!what a nice goal!
-
O mangas tha skisei!Yea well when you pay $10,000,000 for him he better be the best if not one of them
You just wait. Everyone has the right to be cynical at this point, but I bet you he will be a legend!

I dislike Chelsea with a passion, but if it's true then Katsou is either a man of principle and should be respected or a blameno! Who would turn down such a massive move?!?!!?ARTICLE ON KATSOURANIS - CHELSEA
http://www.fansfc.com/frontpage/frontpagen...p?newsid=179488
O M....A....L....A....K....A.....S
anyway, Katsouranis would never go to an Italian team because his name would be the subject of ridicule. CAZZU=psola!
-
Short answer is yes, if Olympiakos register him in time with UEFA.Will Belluschi be CL eligible?
Only incompetent management will prevent him not being available for Oly to beat Chelsea in February.
-
Someone has already edited the Wikipedia entry on Fernando Belluschi already and has him listed as an oly player!
I hope this isn't premature or wishful thinking.
I got to be honest I have never heard of Fernando Belluschi. From his name he is of Italian origin and I know he plays for River Plate, but is he another player touted as the "new maradona"?
-
Who knows exactly? Are there still heavy rumors that samaras is heading on his way to lazio? Hes gotta get outta there. He cant even make the bench when they have a striker injured. Please get outta there in january!
Now that Castillo is at Man City on loan from Shakhtar, Samaras can stay and act as his interpreter!
-
I only support Greek clubs in Europe.
Life long Olympiakos supporter.
Soft spot for ARHS (as this was my father's club)
Will always support Asteras Tripolis as this is my home town club and would even go for them over Olympiakos.
I have never followed any club in any other country. I do have a rather intense dislike for Real Madrid, AC Milan, Liverpool and Chelsea however. Clubs with massive budgets who buy success and stock pile world class players.
I don't mind Barcelona, but I wouldn't say I support them.
-
You hit the nail on the head.I question his work ethic not his character. To use the old cliche, the proof is in the pudding! Just because his coaches don't criticise him publicly doesn't mean s%$#!, that fact that almost every coach he's played under has dropped him from the starting 11 does.
I like Samaras and I want him to succeed, but where's his drive and initiative? I'm sure Stuart Pearce secretly wishes he never spent all the money on him.
-
hahahahahafor all you Lemounis haters... Where are you?
Well one swallow doesn't make a summer.....but I am sure even the most diehard fans who are kata Lemoni won't begrudge him this victory.
-
Fani scored a penalty in the 3 - 0 against Hannover on the weekend. This victory now sees Leverkusen rise to 3rd place alongside Amanatidis/Kyrgiakos' Eintracht.
Just 1 win behind the early leaders Bayern Munich.
Good work by Fani. He seems to be performing well considering the pressure of his move from VfL Bochum and the massive profile he now has amongst his rivals.
:gr:

I saw a replay of the match with Preston North End.
I didn't see the goal he conceded as the commentators said something about him being at fault for it, but aisde from one nervy moment where he kicked the ball out for a throw in near the corner post, his keeping and especially his kicking out was top class.
His team would regularly play the ball back to him and his distribution was excellent. He is a left footer.
Best Greek goalkeeper for sure. Pity Otto the gaidouri doesn't know he even exists.
