I was in Greece for two weeks visiting family and friends in my beloved Chalkida and reminiscing when I use to go to the games at the local stadium. I was surprised that they took down the stands on the far side of the field; however, all-n-all, it is a charming pitch! I was hoping to catch a game, but did not get a chance. One of my favorite games there was between PAOK-AEK in the earlky 1980s for the Greek cupship. It was an honor to see Koudas play!! PAOK won and proceeded to the Cup final only to lose to Olympiakos. ... Bye for now!! Glad to see Chalkida remain in the division; hopefully, they can work past their financial issues.
