Who was asking questions?? His buddy??? Asks about Kourb moving back as if that was somehow the issue out there 🤔 🤔

Hey why'd you use Pavlidis as a LW today and not Tzolis? Also why did you wait till the 79th to bring on another attacking player when the team was clearly having problems breaking through their defense. Why do you keep playing Baka when it's clear Fortou is leaps and bounds better than him as evident in EVERY GAME HE'S PLAYED?!?!

Like he's sitting there happy that our dancing monkeys were actually able to dance. "ya the pylons we put on the field who are only capable of the bare minimum, gave us the bare minimum, so it was a real success story". Yes it's nice that we're not playing like complete s#it but we're just amediocre 3rd pot team squeaking out results. We're not any better than what skibbe had us playing. We're only playing better and creating because of the handful of skill, class and imagination we have on the field.

If he was actually trying to develop this team, Rota or another new rb would have played, tzolis would have played more, he would have experimented with the midfield way more since that's our biggest focal point, vasiliadis would have been given a shot. It's just the same old s#it dressed in a different jacket with a Dutch accent.

  2. Baka can't play as the 8, he has -10 skill for that position. He's literally good as a 2nd st and that's it. The best thing he did yesterday was turn, take 2 steps and shoot the ball... Hardly a mind bending maneuver. 30 games and he's got 2 goals and 2 assists.... 1 penalty and a tap in from Fortou, and a 10 ft simple pass to Fortou for the assist.

I'm still in fcking shock and awww that he put pavlidis on LW yesterday.... Like what on fcking earth was that???

There's something really fishy going on with this team and it'd be nice of the media actually did their fcking jobs and reported on it cause now it's just blatantly obvious.

  3. First sub should have been tzavellas or hatzi off, Kourb to cb and tzolis to LW, instant 4-3-3. If still tied, then Zeca off, Pav or pelkas on and Kourb back to dm as a quazi 3 at the back and tsim has free reign up the left side while mavrias stays back a bit to guard the counter with Kourb and the other cb. Then eventually bakasetas or whoeves tired off, Rota or masouras in so there's 2 players and overlapping runs on both wings again to creating more speed and headaches for their tired d. We saw that Limnios and Fortou were able to make turns and get away from their defenders as they dribbled towards the box. Imagine what fetfa would have done to their d today. We needed ball skill out there and he just refused to put the right guys for that on.

It's like he absolutely expected to be up a goal or 2 after the first half and had no contingency plan if not.

Sorry for all the ranting, I'm just so shocked with the results in these 6 games.

  4. Guys.... What good soccer did he have us playing??? Like good soccer compared to before he came in?? Ya that shouldn't have been hard to do considering idk wtf we were playing beforehand, left handed tidley winks maybe, but definitely wasn't soccer.

We played with big clunky goofy mids (including Baka) with zero forward vision, always looking for back passes and zero ability to take on defenders. Possession, pass% & shots mean fck all if you do nothing with it. We didn't play smooth flowing soccer today, idk what game some guys were watching. We have guys that are capable of it, but they were doing it on their own, Fortou, Tsim, Limn and I'll give mavrias credit cause he was working hard up and down the pitch. There's a lot of potential for this team but this coach refuses to let it shine.

He's given Bakasetas the key to the city here and no one on here, in Greece or anywhere else on earth with eyes has any idea why. Absolutely refuses to play 2 wingers at once. Would rather play Fortou out of position than Baka. Won't call up the best cb's our country has ever produced, but will call up and PLAY a hasbeen who is a LB turned cb so he could stay relevant.

Can someone on here honestly explain why he played Pavlidis as a LW today and tzolis as a ST? He's clueless! I'm convinced he doesn't watch game tapes of our players, he just looks at paper states and minutes player and picks based off that, maybe experience as well (tzavellas/mavrias).

Like he wore out Fortou and Tsim today. Tsim was alone on the left side and Fortou was basically setting up our offence cause the guy who is suppose to has no clue how to play the cam position

  5. This game was absolutely the coaches fault. Plays the same stupid line up that only worked against Moldova because of individual efforts from Fortou and maybe a couple other. Bakashitas absolutely useless to life. Our mids were a joke against a joke Moldova team!! What'd ppl expect today playing an actual decent team??? We once again had nooooo LW for God only knows what reason. 4-3-3 worked so well when he used it that he did the only logical thing a coach could do... Go back to the 4-2-3-1 that doesn't work... Logic 101 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️

Giak should never have been taken off, waste of a sub. Then he puts Pav at LW, Tzo at ST and Baka at DM... guys sipna edo! He has no clue who his players are or what they play for their clubs. San Marino and Gibraltar understand their players better than our coach. I've never seen anything like this in my life from any other prominent soccer team, only Greece.

JVS, Current EPO Board, Bakashitas, Tzavellas, Mavrias, Bouchalakis GTFO and never come back. It's a utter disgrace the level of incompetence management has displayed with this team.

This goof can't get over the fact that he made a bad choice going with bakashitas, so he doubles down on it, makes him cpt and rams him down all our throats.

  6. Honestly fck this coach! Complete and utter fckin moron!!! Goes to see kotsiras play, then calls up mavrias??? Guy hasn't played a single game in Europe this year, makes perfect sense 🤦‍♂️. Then calls up siopis because yes, keeping the ball out of our net has been our issue... 🤔 🤔 🤔 Then calls up only 2 wingers??? Ffs like this is straight out of a family guy episode. It's like we're on candid camera with these clowns and their call ups. I literally can't take a word this guy says seriously anymore. He clearly doesn't care about guys form if mavrias gets a call. Let's see what happens now that he has to replace his star winger mantalos and star cb svar. Gianoulis hurts but he doesn't use him how he should anyway which is rattling cause Gianoulis is so much more effective for paok. But I guess that goes for most of our guys. I'm just at a loss for words at this pt. Hoping for the best but I'm fearing the worst.

I'm fine with siopis being called, but he won't use him. He's only there as a back up to to the other 3 donkeys.

  7. Boys let's get serious in here lol he's not gonna start fortounis no matter what. It'll be the same s%$#! he's been ramming down our throats for 6 of the last 8 games we've played. Gala and the D were the only differences in 6 of the last 8 games for starters.

When we talk s#it about guys not in form being given time, it's usually guys that suck and not guys of fortounis caliber.

The line up will more than likely be the same nonsense it's been cause he has no vision. His subs and his starters haven't made any sense and don't make sense at all with what's happened and what's been at those given times. He really can't see the forest through the trees.

What the line up should be

    Bak       hatzi    manolas(retsos)     tsimikas

                                Zeca

                 Fortounis     Mantalos(Gala)

    Limnios                          Fountas(Gianoulis)

                          Pavlidis(Fountas)

    What it will be lol

    Bak(hatzi)      svar      tzav      gianoulis

          The 2 headed monster Kourbzeca

    Limnios              bakapylon       Mantalos

                        Pavlidis(koulouris)

He will continue to plays guys out of position and will continue crippling our attack by not having proper personel on both sides of the field.

I'm so curious to see who he calls up! Hoping for the best but fearing the same nonsense.

  8. I'm fine with Pav and Lim obv, they can start everygame. They're definitely not the issue out there.

Those are all good line ups guys, problem is he'll never even attempt play them because these idiot greek coaches never do what makes sense. I think the friendly was a telltale sign of this coaches lack of anything. So many things could have been tried out, instead he just did the same s%$#! he's been doing.

Like if course non of us are soccer mastermind(maybe some of us 😝), but we all know the game pretty well. And what's frustrating is is that we're not in here posting insane ideas for line ups, we're on here posting very logical realistic line ups. That's where you know theres a massive problem. And although we're not in that dressing room, we all highly doubt he's forced into these line ups because of the personnel available/unavailable to him.

Any logical coach would have tried his line up, seen it was ineffective and switched to something different, but not him.

And this ego s#it he's pulling with manolas, socs, siovas and fetfa is very bad. Manolas and soc have bled for the shirt and deserve better than that. This guys acting like a big shot in borrowed shoes. He's proven nothing and he walks in the door kicking ass and chewing bubble gum. This clown wouldnt have even gotten hired if epo wasn't so broke and incompetent

  9. Svarnas is just another puzzling issue with this team. He isn't awful, but we're also playing s#it teams. But aek fans sound shocked he's playing, so that's saying something, and he's not even their first choice.

Bottom line this team is a fcking dumpster fire. He's started Pav, Lim, Baka, Mant, Kourb and Zeca 3 out of the 4 games and we've only scored 2 goals in those 3 games. Either this coach is a clueless dumba$$ or theres curruption worse than any of us could've ever imagined.

And let's be real about Otto and Santos (aside from euro 04), we'd squeeze out 1-0 games in the 90th against powerhouses like Malta. But aside from a couple wins, we always did s#it against top teams and we'd get embarrassed at tourneys ie euro 08, wc 2010 w/ South Korea/Argentina euro 2012 with Czech/Germany. And let's not forget those stupid a$$ line ups we had in the Argentina and Germany games lol might as well have just told the players to form a wall in front of the net and stand on each other's shoulders... Like that's a joke. Every wc we made, we were runners up in a group and had to play a playoff when we should have made it through. Croatia for 2012 was the clutchest game we ever played against a legit top team post euro 04. We had no business tying Japan'14, losing to South Korea'10, losing to the Czechs'12 and losing to Costa Rica, we shouldn't have even needed penalties.

Can you guys seriously think of another team anywhere that's ever fielded such debacle lineups like we've seen consistently?? But with Greece it's become the norm for the line up to come out and it's a complete and utter m@lakia.

JVS might seriously be as big of a dink as Skibbe was and that's a tall order considering he's in the hall of fame for all time bone headed decisions. It's one thing for coaches to make some mistakes, we get it, it happens. But these guys literally will run into the wall 50 times, then look at the door, then try the wall again. 3 straight games he tried a cb at rb and it was brutal all 3 games... Like what game was he watching???

Even if Baka works harder than fortounis, he still isn't good enough to tie fortounis bootlace. What good is winning the ball back if we can't do anything with it? The object of the game is to score, not win the ball back. A good offense IS a good defense. You don't have to play d when you have the ball the majority of the time. It doesn't help our cause if we have a bunch of Rudys on the field. You can teach work ethic, you can't teach skill and vision.

  10. Stumbled on to something today, not sure if guys have talked about it specifically or not though.

I was going through google, looking at past line ups we fielded for every game and noticed a troubling trend. For the last 9 games straight, going back to the 2-0 loss to Italy - Bakasetas, Mantalos, Limnios and Pavlidis(didn't play against Italy) have been either starters or featured in the offense in all those games and have been the front 4 in a few of those games. Limnios and Pavlidis are fine, but seriously wtf is going on with this team??? I went back even further Stafylidis always seems to find his way into the line no matter what the situation is... As a cb, lw, lb, cm, cdm... A guy who's played a grand total of 28 games since 2017. And in 122 club games since 2017 Bakasetas has 29 goals and 20 assists. Fortounis has 32 goals and 36 assists in 106 games since 2017, it's night and day.

  11. Guys, everyone needs to have a listen to "Gate 7 International Podcast" ! They're most recent podcast was about the NL games and they hit all the nails on the head perfectly! Talked about everything we've been saying in here.

They brought up a very good pt as well - which is why on earth Staf and Baka have been wearing the captains armband... Neither of them have nay business being captain. They barely have business being part of the team.

A while back guys on here brought up something about Staf, tzavellas and baka sharing an agent who has major pull with EPO. That could be what's going on here. Think about it, there was no need to try Staf at cb and baka certainly hasn't earned any of the playing time he continues to get.

On the podcast they ptd out that the assist baka got on the mantalos goal was the first pass he's ever made that created a dangerous situation for the opposition... That's how useless he's been for the nt.

We all have eyes, and unfortunately I think the curruption is still alive and well. If we don't see the proper adjustments made for the next round of games, then we know for sure it's still happening. Idk, I don't wanna sound like a loon, but what other explanation can there be for these plugs being given automatic starts?? And even though he subbed of baka, he didn't do it till the 70+ min.

I agree with you, we have good pieces and the guys you mentioned are heading in the right direction, it’s a young team and it will go through it’s up and downs before they start winning more consistently.. That’s how a rebuild is done.. For people who think the coach is going to snap his fingers and all of all of a sudden this team will be a top 20 team again obviously don’t have the knowledge of what an actual rebuild is.. There’s a learning curve and these young guys are going to lose games in order to learn how to win. Right now it it’s important that young talent we value get there feet wet and start playing regularly to gain the experience.. This team will eventually come together and for the people who think changing the coach is the answer obviously haven’t been paying attention as we’ve gone through what 5 or 6 coaches with no change in results.. This coach had the balls to see the team was no going anywhere with the the “original” team so he’s started to rebuild the team which was well overdo.. I still don’t like a lot of his selections and decision making but we need to give him the opportunity for the 2020 World Cup and if they show progress but still don’t make it then that just means the team was not ready yet becasue changing the coach won’t do s%$#! right now for this team..

I agree with both of you!

jvs made a lot of well overdue changes, but there's still more work to be done. He said in the post gamer that that review and adjust after each game.... Well he better actually start fcking doing that cause that sort of logic and take on things looked non existent in the 3 games. Instead it looked like groundhog day with Bill Murray.

I'm all for him trying things out, np trying a cb at rb cause you don't trust your young called up rb. Also np trying tzavellas at cb which has been his natural club position for a few yrs now, and nothing wrong with having a vet in the squad.

And yes it's a rebuild, so there will be ups and downs, but even in a rebuild common sense still applies and I think we're all seeing some familiar issues coming back. Albeit not the same as before, but definitely things that shouldn't still be lingering.

Anyways, let's see what he puts on the field in the next round of games and we'll go from there.

  13. Hey guys, hope everyones been well and staying safe during these trying time.

Stayed away from watching ethiniki for a while for obv reasons lol but still kept an eye on them over the last year. So saw the revamp, new additions, tactics from a far. Even heard that all of a sudden bakasetas had apparently learned to play soccer! 😂

Anyways, wanted to get some games under my belt before I made any sort of commentary. I've watched the last 5 games in full, so I've gotten my feet wet lol

The good: this coach is obv far more competent than the bafoons we've had in the past. He seems to have been able to comprehend that its smart to look around the world at your entire talent pool and not have tunnel with selections. Although there are still many question marks for sure. The team is playing better, more attack minded soccer which I can't ever remember seeing. I never remember us pressing and controlling the play the way we have. Mind you we're not playing power houses either. But it's been nice to see huslte and hounding the other team for the ball back. And he seems to have a good feel on the  players that need to be brought into the game to sway the momentum or add to or change the game plan.

The bad: there are very obvious things going on that he seems oblivious to. For 3 games he forced a cb to play rb, it didn't work, yet he kept at it. It stifled limnios effectiveness on the field at times in a major way, to the pt limnios and fortou are signalling hatzi to move up and make a run because he was clueless out there. I listened to jvs press conference, he said that they wanted to keep the right side defensive and that hatzi wasn't out there to provide attack. Well if that's the case why aren't your right winger or your star cam aware of this??? Bottom line it didn't work at all for any of the 3 games and the fact that he kept forcing it is baffling. Bakasetas can absolutely not be an automatic starter - he's got zero vision, can't make passes to open teams up, can't dribble, has a heavy touch, too slow. He only possesses a shot which he is almost never able to get off and clearly has to accuracy or iq of when to try and use it. We can't have him, zeca and kourb all in the middle together, non of them can make the type of pass that's needed to start an attack.

Why he called up rota and barely used him is stupid. Like play him in the friendly!!! Instead he calls up tzavellas and plays him all 3 games. That clown had no business playing all 3 games. You wanna a call him up? Fine. but no need for him to play the full 90 in a friendly. Not changing the line up from the Moldova game to Kosovo was just.... We got lucky and got a penalty and they got a red, changed the whole game. How he looked at our line up and thought it worked so well he should field it again was just bizzare. Especially considering how much more we created once he made the subs, but nope, same line up. Then he waits till 20 mins left to put on fortou and pelkas, but takes off limnios... Limnios wasn't the issue and he clearly needed players on the field to help him sooner, that's bad coaching not recognizing that.

This coach definitely has potential, but there still seems to be hints of mistakes of coaches pasts in his decision making and it's starting to show in a bad way. These aren't the types of errors that should be going on when he's had control of the team for a year or so now.

The coach needs to go ASAP and if with a new coach the results and drama continue then time to clean house get rid of everyone and start playing younger guys.. At the end of the day I would rather lose and get embarrassed with younger guys that may have some potential then watching these guys lose every time they play..

EPO just confirmed they will play at Oaka for the entire qualifier.. wow how embarrassing we don’t even have a home field.. lol Oaka is like we are playing on the road..

Exactly! Let an actual coach come in and inject proper tactics and strategy, and if it doesn't work, then in comes Patrick Swayze from road house to clean house lol

Staf was out the first half of the season with injury but started regularly in the 2nd half (14 games)....he didn't do too well against Italy so Koutris started against Armenia.....he sucked @$$ also.....hopefully Lykogiannis gets a call up because he's a much more balanced player than the other 2.

He played Masouras-Kolovos against Italy and we saw how successful that was.

He asked Siovas if he could play RB and Siovas said he couldn't and that's why he played him at CDM a position he has played before.....a dumb move by Anastasiadis which created 2 problems instead of correcting one.

It was a trainer and the goalie coach who got into it and Anastasiadis intervened to cool them off.

Yes he said that and has done it at PAOK beating Oly with Salpi playing RB....don't know what to say about this one....

He used Pasxalakis against Turkey and lost, used Barkas against Italy and lost so he tried Vlaxodimos against Armenia and lost....its not like anybody put in a great performance and then got screwed over....none of them were able to win a game.

Do you really believe the way the team is playing atm that Toro or Mitro would have made a difference? Torosidis with a knee injury since the start of March and appeared for 8 min in the last game of the season so he must be in tip top shape right? Or Mitroglou who also was injured and hasn't been getting playing time or scoring goals since leaving Benfica. My opinion: if you don't play regularly at club level you shouldn't get a call up....most members of this forum complained about this with Skibbe, Santos and Otto.

The leaky defence started right after Santos was driven off the team and the only constant in this is Manolas/Papastathopoulos....they are the ones who bind the back line and no NT coach is gonna teach them how to defend.

I can't believe I'm defending Anastasiadis but if you step back and look at the big picture the only bad result he got was against Armenia when he fielded a very reasonable line up and the players simply failed to produce....I'm pretty sure he tries to prime them and get them up before the match because that's always been his style and yet they come out looking like they just woke up and need a coffee before getting started. Its the players' mentality at this point that has to come into question....the coach can't run or kick the ball for them and if you believe that in the game against Armenia we lost because of Anastasiadis you're kidding yourself.

You made a couple good points, but I want to touch on a couple of the other things.

Not all players can play anywhere on the the pitch, that's just a straight ignorant statement from him, as is putting the game in God's hands... Putting salpi isn't soem incredible tactic, he already plays the right side, so he just moved him back and asked him to be a bit more d minded, salpi is a vet so it wasn't a mind blowing concept for him. Looking at all his call ups and asking siovas of all players to play rb is straight f'd. Playing a lb at rb would have made more sense at that point.

Rb didn't even end up being our issue in that game, we had no connection between the mids and our forwards who were left out to dry, by who? Our coach! The Italian were coming at us in waves, and we couldn't sustain possession. So seeing all that, he subs on a rb and another dm lol yup, that oughta solve the ball possession problem. So I guess we needed to defend our 3 goal lead at that point? Guess there wasn't a need to switch the tactics at all right? or bring out a couple players to assist the attack? God had us covered, the Italians were more God worthy that day as well. Nothing to do with continuously sticking too many dm's on the field.

I don't care about the musical goalies, cause it really didn't matter who was in net with the chances we were giving up.

No hes not at fault for the players individually, but yes he's very much at fault for who he fields and weather or not they're able to assist in attack or how they're able to distribute the ball.

The points you did make made sense, but for some reason you fail to mention anything about his tactics or subs/decisions on player personnel, which are all in his hands.

Losing 2-0 to Armenia at ht, it doesn't make sense to keep the dms in tact, especially if your job is on the line, but like clock work, he took off pelkas. Then subs a dm for a dm down 3-1 lol guess he thought Greece was up 3-1?

Its 2019, you can't play 2 tall oafs at cdm who can't distribute and hope to get results. And you can't try to stack a wall against itlay, they will come in waves and eventually bag one, doesn't matter how good your d is, you cant sustain that for 90. You put 3 tall oafs at dm in the Italy, is anyone surprised they broke us down, or that we couldn't get the ball up to the forwards...or excuse me, just fortou cause Mas and Kol were running back and forth defending so they weren't even up there with him.

Like honestly if you're gonna make an argument for him, don't be selective and cherry pick only certain thing and leave out everything else, cause then it just falls short.

  16. @AchillesHeel ok fair enough about staf I didn't know he played 2nd half of the season. I was just going on what I was reading and hearing, but I should have taken a look. I actually don't mind him, I just thought he was inform, but it was tough to tell in that game cause everyone looked out of sorts.

To the point about the wingers though, yes he did, but without a true striker on the field or anyone who could get the ball up to them from the dm, so we can't really count that. Fortou, Mas and kolovos were on the lonely island that game lol

Did you see Bakasetas was sold to Alanyaspor (team of Tzavellas)? I hope he wont get a call-up while he is playing for such an average Turkish team.

He better not get a call up period. Absolute garbage player who adds literally nothing to this team, no offense, no defense.... Just a dud.

Ang needs to go for more reason then the starting line up the guy is unstable..

    A few examples.

-Starts players in a position they are not use too. Example Siovis told the coach he’s never played that position and doesn’t feel comfortable but the coach ignored him.

-Saying we lost because Armenians might be better people then the Greeks and god gave them the win.

-Instead of watching video of how Armenia play he put a champions league match on.

-When Socrates asked the coach how does he want them to defend set pieces the coach said “god will decide”

-He almost came to blows with his goalie coach and assists during the Armenia game..

-He said he doesn’t believe in positions players can play everywhere.

-he choose not bring Toro or Mitro and used an experimental line up against Italy.

-He’s used 3 different goalies in his last 3 games. How can someone build chemistry with the team.

-Since his been coach the team has allowed 9 goals against in his last 3 games. Which goes to show you based on the above information that his team is not prepared and the players are left to make decisions last second on the field..

I saw positive signs at the beginning when this coach first got hired but I was way off this guy is nuts and has no business coaching this team. He is a a guy that hasn’t coached a competitive game in 5 years, he has no sense of the modern football game and he leaves a lot of what happens to “god”. He needs to go ASAP. I’m not going to Bash anyone on this form like some people do for having an opinion but guys you can’t possibly think this guy deserves anymore chances..

    Great post dude!

All this because the players  half @$$ed it against Armenia.....if you're gonna get Ouzounides you might as well keep Angelo. Ouzou is really hopeless at in game tactics and while he did ok at smaller clubs (Panionios, Xanthi) he flopped at AEK and did a very average job at PAO playing the "timio palikari" to the end.

The truth is that Angelo (and I'm not a fan of his) has been hung out to dry by the players before even getting a chance. You can say what you will about his decisions and call ups but the only real damage done to the campaign so far is the loss to Armenia and as I stated before, its entirely on the players.....the team beat Lichtenstein, drew Bosnia, lost (as expected) to Italy and lost 3 points to Armenia (THE PLAYERS FAULT) and now he's being crucified by all the press so he can get canned. Something stinks about this scenario and as much as I like Sokratis as a player, his behavior after the match makes him seem unworthy of being a captain....he could have discussed things with Angelo and the EPO before pulling the rug  out from under him. If they had won the game against Armenia (which they should have been able to do even without a coach) then no one would have said a peep....so 1 game lost with the blame squarely on the players and he's gonna get the boot....that's real nice.

Can you really say all this after everything that's come out in the last week?

Ange got hung out to dry? What game did you watch? He can't even recognize what decisions to make in game, or who should or shouldn't be on together. He played Samaris 4 straight games, it didn't take a rocket scientist to see that was wrong. The guys another skibbe, doesn't watch game tape on his own players or the opponents, clueless in game decision making. We all have eyes and saw the moves he was making in game.

The media isn't just magically all over him, they're all over him cause he's out to lunch in every way imaginable. Sokratis has had enough of 2 dollar coaches ruining the morale of the team and playing undeserving players or playing players out of position, then sitting them when they struggle out of position.

This idiot played stafylidis against Italy who has barley played games lately instead of koutris who starts every week, and he played musical goalkeepers for 3 games.

Let's not forget that the first thing this knob did, was come in and lose to Estonia, and he made stupid subs in that game as well. He took off masouras who was the only bright spot on the wing that game. And speaking of wing, he still to this point hasn't played 2 true wingers on at the same time in a formation that requires it. So the players are playing on their back foot from the start. He can't even recognize that the midfield struggles every game cause he has too many like players in dm who can't distribute.

Yes its on the players to beat Armenia ect, but when you have a coach that won't allow the deserving players to play or play sensible tactics, team morale plummets.

WE used 3 different goalkeepers in 3 games ?

Who is to say any of them are even the best goalkeeper in greece

Karnezis even sitting on the bench as a 3rd string goalie in napoli is probably

better than all 3 of them and has tons of experience with 50 caps.

Just put the best players on the field. Same argument can be made for somebody

like fetzfazdis and others i am sure. Rehagel who many times got criticized sometimes put on players who were without a club

on the field and he said in response that the players have not forgotten how to play.

I remember in the 06 wc qualifiers, Tsiartas didn't have a team and he was playing him and Tsiartas was literally saving our asses in that campaign.

But Otto also wouldn't look for players outside the big 4 clubs on Greece, and that hurt us too.

  21. I'm skeptical about a Greek coach, cause I don't wanna see favorites being played based on team affiliation ect or what they've seen in the past. But I also don't know much about ouzounidis, so maybe he'll be fine. But the epo decision making seems very suspect.
