  1. Pjanić and Bešić are by far best Bosnian midfielders. Pjanić got injured in the game vs Real but still nobody knows how much really is he hurt. As for Bešić I said it, he was injured for half of the year, just returned in the last couple of weeks but only for Everton reserve squad. As for others midfielders: - Jajalo. N. team coach really likes him. Me too, he is a DM but can help in offense too. But Palermo was relagated to the Seria B and he wasn't even in the starting 11. - Cimirot. N. team coach doesn't really like him given by how much playing time he gets. I would like to see him more on the pitch. - Medunjanin. He is one of those: "They can pass, they can shoot (free kicks), they can dribble but they all are lazy, slow and defensive tasks are non existing for them". As for our defence. We are for a long time forced to use Vranješ as RB even though he is a CB, we just lack decent RB. And now because Kolašinac is suspended, we will probably play Zukanović as LB, and he is also a CB. So yeah, as it seems we will play with four centre backs in our defence. Who will play CB's? Probably two of those three: - Šunjić. Same as Jajalo, Palermo was relagated to the Seria B and he wasn't even in the starting 11. - Bičakić. Not in the starting 11 of Hoffenheim. - Cocalić. Plays for mediocre Belgium club. It would be suprise to see Đumić or Memišević in the starting 11, those two CB's just recently joined national team.
  2. We like Cimirot because he is a untypical Bosnian midfielder. We produce many talented midfielders who are all similar to each others: They can pass, they can shoot (free kicks), they can dribble but they all are lazy, slow and defensive tasks are non existing for them. Cimirot is a hard worker, can run for two games and is a huge defensive presence. National team coach isn't the biggest fan though.
  3. During the game you really should pay attention on the performance of our "wingers" Višća and Lulić. Lulić is in the national team from the 2008. Till now he played really well in only 2 games: BiH - Romania 2 - 1(in 2011) and Cyprus - BiH 2 - 3(in 2015). Two great games from 2008 to now! To be fair, he played really well against Andora too. Višća is in the national team from the 2010. Till now he played really well in only 1 game: BiH - Israel 3 - 1(in 2015). One great game from a 2010 to now! If you don't actually watch them play in the national team and just read about them you would think they are dangerous: - Istanbul BB finished 2nd in the Turkey and Višća is a key player of the team - Lulić is in the starting 11 of Lazio for years It's sad. Every new national team game is a new hope for me they will finally convince me I'm wrong, years are passing...maybe this game vs Greece is finally that game?
  4. Hy. As for BiH: Goalkeeper Obviously Begović. He spent last 2 years on the Chealsea bench but he pointed out that he had quality trainings with top players and coaches. He feels full ready. We will see, I'm not convinced. Recently signed for Bournemouth and there he should be a starting keeper in a new season. Defence Although he is nearly 37 years old Spahić is still our best CB but he isn't called for this game because he is a without club for a while. I wouldn't call our available CB's bad, but just average. There are 1000 players of their level in the World. RB is our weakest spot for a long time. Mujdža was reliable on that position for years but his best days are now behind him, he isn't in the national team anymore and we don't have at least one promising RB. Vranješ is our starting player on that position but in reality he is more a CB. Our second option is RB/RM Vršajević but he isn't avilable because of injury and anyway he is a worst player in a national team overal. In Kolašinac we have great young LB. He played really well for Schalke in the last season and Arsenal may be his new club, with Pjanić and Džeko he had best season of all Bosnian players, but...he will miss this game because of suspension. Midfield Pjanić obviously is a main figure. Our best DM Bešić was injured for a long time, he returned recently but only for Everton reserve squad, national team coach called him anyway. I would be suprised to see him in the starting 11, but I'm glad he's here. Wingers I really can't stand both on the right side Višća and on the left side Lulić. My less favourite part of the team. They can't dribble or just do anything useful in most of the national team games. They are actually pretty good in their clubs Istanbul BB and Lazio but I guess it says something about the level of those teams. Strikers Džeko is a top scorer of the Seria A and a Europa league so obviously he is in the great form, but many people belive there is a Džeko rule:"When he plays bad for the club he scores for the national team, when he plays good for the club he misses for the national team." Ibišević, he's always there. Young guns Hodžić, Bajić and Kodro had either decent or good seasons in ther clubs so i expect to see at least one on them in the second half, especially if things go bad for our team. Let the better wins.
  5. When your striker misses everything in a national team game and then scores like this for his club
  6. Bosnia have many "national team only" fan groups, as I said it, BH Fanaticos are most known. Not sure what is actually considered "Ultras", but I can say you this: They have a couple of thousands of members of very different profiles, from girls and middle-aged rich people to young masked guys with pyro and fights, but even they as much as I know never stabbed someone or something similar, obviously not the most radical "fans" in the World lol.
  7. I'm pretty sure nobody from us in this forum didn't raise that Srebrenica banner, didn't raise Chetniks flag(yes, even that was there, link : http://www.bljesak.net/Thumb/502x339/atena-grcka-bih-sukob4.jpg ), didn't boo opposite anthem, didn't throw pyro on the opposite fans, didn't yelled Macedonia or something, actually I'm pretty sure most of us from this discussion were not at the stadion at all and we all agree that we don't support that behaviour, aren't we? So none of us should not really try to explain something committed by other people, for instance only people who are responsible for Srebrenica banner are those who raised it, not all Greeks on the stadion and of course not all Greeks in total. But that's just how I see things, but I'm afraid not all people are like me in both nations.
  8. When Bosnian fans are yelling "Macedonia" or when Greek fans boo Bosnian anthem(or vice versa), or when Greek fans bring Serbian flags or Bosnian fans Turkiye flags etc. is one thing, not nice obviously but not like it's a tragedy...but glorification of officially biggest crime in the Europe after WW2 is on another level. Actually I read official announcement of the "BH Fanaticos"(most famous fan group of the Bosnian national teams) and they are mad becuase Greek football association equalized Srebrenica banner with their behaviour(pyro and stuff). Last sentence of their announcement: "We can't be silent on those provocations. We will react in our style, as a fans, no matter price and consequences. Between sport results and pride - honor we will choose the second one." Some nice people as it seems
  9. Some of both Bosnian and Greek media should be heavily criticized. They find some facebook comments or forum posts and make articles based on that with panic headlines like from one popular Bosnian sport news site:"Greek threats: We will crush your entire country!", and I saw also some Greek articles based on angry comments on Edin Džeko's facebok page lmao. And of course when someone get hurt they will not be blamed.
  10. Anel Hadžić, potential national team player(wasn't called for a long time) said for a media that he beg national team coach to call him just one more time - for a revange against Greece. Just one of many "we can't wait for a rematch" statements from a Bosnian players. Even a Vranješ who is a Bosnian Serb wrote on his offical facebook page: "It will be a hell in Zenica. See you!" They are mad for various reasons, Srebrenica banner, couple of Bosnian fans were attacked and injured, some Greek fan hit Džeko with something in the head(there were blood) and overall behavior of Greek fans and players, and also nobody have a nice words for a referee... Of course usual social network pages mongers will try to use situation and connect that and remind of Greek state role in Bosnian war, Greek volunteers on Serb side in same war etc. I don't support that, first of all every of us is a special individual and you can't blame entire Greek nation for something committed by 1, 10, or 100 Greeks. Hell, the guy who wrote a book "Unholy Alliance:Greece and Milosevic's Serbia" and actually openly revealed shameful role of the Greece in the Bosnian war is also a Greek. Should we hate him too??? Second, we are those who will win in just a usual football match, but in a game with too much emotions and incidents Greeks have advantage, they are like a wish in a water in situations like that. There is so many stupid people in every nation, I'm a history student, actually expert for a "Greece in the time of king Otto" topic and I'm pretty sure that Greek history students are also nice people, but there are dumb asses in every nation, my too.
  11. If it is just about names, Greece is even worst than Bosnia. Like three of your best players are centre backs, and not like centre backs are star of this game. But overal Greece is ahead of Bosnia, of course, but it isn't about individual quality of players. And most important Bosnian player is Muhamed Bešić, he is our only midfielder who can tackle and run 180 minutes wihout rest, we missed him in this game but he is more important than Pjanić or Džeko
  12. Remember this guy, he is also one of us haha And I keep quoting this "aek66" user in every post, what the hell is this
  13. Full highlights Edit: I don't have a clue why am I quoting user "aek66" in every post, his post is just there every time I try to reply and can't get rid of it, I will call it a bug.
  14. Greece = not overly talented but tough team, physical, disciplined, knows what they want on the pitch, defensive, "ugly" football and many games with 1 or zero goals, constantly try to provoke opponents and talk to the referees, will try to fake fouls in every occasion.(Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against this game style, it's still legit way to play this game). Bosnia = talented team, they can pass the ball and dribble, but not the most disciplined team out there and a bit of naive, also most of players can't run as much is it needed. Seems like we can't play defensive football, even in a Belgium away game we tried to attack them from the first minute, which didn't ended well. When we(Bosnia) played on our way we looked like a Real Madrid towards Tenerife. But our team allowed Greeks to provoke them(lol at Džeko), turn into game with high tensions, hot temper, nervousness, fights...which perfectly suits Greek players, but our players are not made for that. Naive, naive, we let Greeks to turn game into their style. Also we tried to "steal a time" and it was obviously we aren't really good at that, Greeks would be much better in that situation. In a rematch our players must play with "cold heads", because we can beat Greeks in a good football match, but we can't beat team in a open fight on a pitch. And we must score, we missed so many opportunities in this game, same with previous Cyprus game. If our team miss two or three good opportunities versus Greece in Bosnia, we will be punished from counter attack or a lucky shoot, it happens all the time, especially when your opponent is a Greece. I'm a bit of worried, couple of our players said that they "can't wait" for a rematch like they are mad on someone and not just in a football sense, it's good there is so much time before rematch, they will cold their heads untill that. Trying to beat Greeks in a nervous and "this time it's personal" game is same as trying to beat Barcelona with tiki - taka.
  15. Višća injured foot on last training, will miss this game. Maybe it's a chance for a additionally called Miroslav Stevanović, at least in a second half?
  16. Video of Bosnian press conference with translation into Greek http://sportsport.ba/bh_fudbal/bazdarevic-idemo-na-pobjedu-ali-ni-bod-ne-bi-bio-los/213724
  17. Report from Bosnian training in Greece. They just say Kolašinac seems fine and that Dušan Bajević(you can see him in pics section in the company of coach Baždarević) visited our team http://sportsport.ba/bh_fudbal/kolasinac-trenirao-bajevic-dosao-da-podrzi-zmajeve/213622
  18. Sead Kolašinac is doubtful for this match, and Muhamed Bešić is injured for a long time. Those two are our starting left back and defensive midfielder and biggest absences at this moment. But there are still chances Kolašinac will play.
