    Would you say that Nottingham Forest has more pedigree than Manchester City? I mean, Notts won the Champions League after all.

    The head to head means nothing when you play us after we went through 4 year war and all our sporting infrastructure was destroyed.

     

    All that is relevant is now, and in the last few years you have finished 6th place in qualifying group and below Bosnia in WC group qualifier. How can you call us a "backwater" with those results?

    A draw was a fair reflection yesterday, yes. Bosnia had its moments, they had a positive scheme, they scored a brilliant free kick that took a lucky bounce, but not taking much more away from that. We hit the bar and then scored a fanatastic goal. Let`s also not forget we were missing Manolas, our best player along with Sokratis, and one of the best CBs alive at the moment. 

    The next meeting should be one for the ages. 

    There are a hundred factors that affect the outcome of a football match, none of them went your way in the last campaign. You were top seed and finished 6th place, losing to one of the worst teams in Europe twice. Furthermore, in the World Cup qualifiers you finished below us and we beat you 3-1 at home. You lost to Luxembourg in a friendly and you needed a 95th minute goal from a foul throw to score in last nights game. 

    I mean no disrespect, but the poster on here who said that we are a "backwater and always will be" should perhaps look at himself first.

    Wouldn't expect them to have any integrity anyway, these are people who bent over for the Turks and took their religion.

    How? Any neutral who watched the game knows that this isn't true. Not to mention the goal came from a foul throw. I think a draw is a fair reflection of the game.

    Is and always will be? Can I ask what makes Greece better than our team? Did you not finish 6th place in your qualifying group for Euro 2016?

    I should clarify that I am a Bosnian fan, just came to this forum to see your insights before we play this game. I personally have nothing against Greeks at all, that would be wrong, just looking forward to a good game of football. I don't remember the 'strong anti Greek reactions' you are talking about, I don't believe many people think badly about Greeks in our country. I had a great time when FK Sarajevo played Atromitos 2 years ago.

    this shows they're taking this match way seriously. probably more than us. this is kinda what romania did, calling in experts on greek football to expose our chinks in our armer. we currently have many right now. Weak attacking wings. A diminished cb and sub-optimal selections

    There is no need for these kind of comments.  Bajević is born & raised in Bosnia and spent his best years in Velez Mostar. He's just coming to see his friends (Bazdarevic) and country. His ethnicity is Bosnian Serb, for the record.

    The new manager seems to like playing long-ball tactics. If that's read and neutralized then Bosnia loses its threat in attack.

    I think it's quite an even match up - 50/50. Both Bosnia and Greece are average European sides and a lot will depend on who wants it more on the day. A draw wouldn't surprise me.

    Yes, because we're not allowed to score from corners? Set pieces are also valid goals, and if we can take good corners, that will score you goals.

     

    Anyone who says that was a "non-existent penalty" has no idea about football.

     

    Don't most goals come from poor defending and "poor keeping"? Not every goal is a 40 yard screamer. If you can exploit the defense then you will. Bosnia also hit the woodwork 3 times, should have had another penalty and the keeper kept them out a few times. We've just come off a campaign where we came bottom of the group, lost to the Faroes twice, lost to Bosnia only 3 years ago quite convincingly and suddenly we're spitting on them? A 4-1 against Gibraltar is not an amazing performance.
