Also I just heard a report on the radio that the players of Italy, Sweden, and Croatia stayed in the same hotel in Litohoro and had stomach problems due to food poisoning. Greek players that stayed in a diffrent hotel did not have this problem.

Louis Tsatoumas broke the 13 year old Greek record in the long jump, by jumping 8.66 meters in a meet in Kalamata. This is the 8th longest jump of all time in the World and 2nd longst jump in Europe of all time. The previous Greek record of 8.36 m was held by Koukodimos since 1994.

PAOK owes 40% of Gekas's contract. It was part of the Salpiggidis between Goumenos and Panathinaikos. As a result PAOK will receive around 300,000 Euro from Panathinaikos, although I believe Goumenos allready collected 50,000 under the table from Panathinaikos from that portionof the deal. As a sidenote, Panathinaikos really screwed up with Gekas. Here they had a player, who is worth 3.5 million, and they will only get 400,000 for him.
