Fortounis a rocket, but just over the net

Greece substitution: Masouras IN Bouchalakis OUT

Whether that's true or not(I hear good things), he wasn't on that play.

That may be, but we are where we are. We also gave them a stupid corner that led to that first goal, and with a competent GK, that free kick is an easy save

I just don't understand why we're parking the bus like we're playing Brazil or France or something. That's how it became 1-0 so quick. 2nd goal is all Vlachodimos. Since we started playing them straight up, it's been a lot better, but probably too late.

For what it's worth, I was there when Cyprus came from behind 2-0 on this very team in August 2017 to win 3-2

Ball falls for Donis! Save Sehic!

I think Anastasiadis thinks he's still in Cyprus with these tactics.

Even without the wall, he needs to have that. Didn't even move, and even cheated the wrong way

Don't blame the wall, that's all on Vlachodimos

Pjanic free kick, he scores! Vlachodimos just froze, he'll want that one back

Like I said right before the goal, we should be playing them straight up. We tried to park the bus, that lasted all of 10 minutes.

Besic, save Vlachodimos!

Papastathopoulos gives away a stupid corner, Pjanic plays it in low to Visca, the shot blocked in front by Zeca, comes right back to Visca and he scores.

We're really playing scared here. We should be playing them straight up

Cyprus 0-2 Belgium FT

MUCH tougher competition for Cyprus now, because once again, Belgium comes to town.

I thought you were joking! Actually the long ball up the middle is a new play for us. Used to just be the cross into the middle.
